Chesley Buffin
I think we have communicated before. I have a question for you about the memorial for Chesley Buffin. I am trying to find the family of Annie B. Newton Metts who is buried in Switzer Cemetery. She is my great-grandmother. I have found a family tree that seems to indicate that Nancy G. Buffin married 1st Benjamin Johnson and 2nd William B. Newton. There is a census for 1870 that has Nancy and William Newton with their children Benjamin T., age 6 and Ann Newton, age 4. I am wondering if this Ann Newton is the Annie B. Newton Metts buried in Switzer. I have a wonderful photo that has been in the family for years and although there is no name on the photo it is purported to be the parents of Annie B. Newton Metts. The man and woman are seated and the man has a gun across his chest pointed at the woman. Someone, somewhere must have the same photo. I am desperately trying to trace the family of Annie B. Newton. Thanks for any help you can give me.

John C Hall ( #48103644 )
I see that you had taken a stone picture for John C Hall in Switzer Cemetery, located in Frankfort KY.. I have tried to read the name on your picture and it looks like there is another initial in the name besides the "C". Would you take a look in your original photo and see if there is?

Saxton/Parker in Lex KY
I am a direct decendant of the family names above. I have been studying the family history and trying to piece together many puzzles. I recently visited Lexington Cemetery (live in NJ) to photograph each of the relatives as I found them. Amazing to know that they occupy four different sections in Lexington Cemetery and go back to my great, great, great, great grandparents.
I wanted to express my thanks for all the time, patience and care you extended to their memories in creating the photos and records here on FindaGrave. I am a recent member here myself, and hope to extend the same courtesy to others who are seeking to learn more about their families.
Thank you again.
