I am retired and live in Central North Carolina. I have been doing family research for 40 years. The internet just makes it easier to look for dead relatives, but you still have to make sure the information is correct.
Some of my favorite cemeteries are Bonaventure in Savanah, Ga, Allegheny in Pittsburgh, Pa and Oakdale in Wilmington, NC. I love the old statues and the hidden meanings of different designs of headstones.
All photos submitted by me are copyrighted by me, no use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent.
Transfers: Transfers outside Find A Grave guidelines will be assessed on a case by case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the deceased.
I am glad to enter corrections, links and additional information. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial and click on the Suggest a Correction link. Do not email transfer requests or corrections. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial.
ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose. Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. Personal photographs I have added to memorials that I created and maintain, remain in my control and are considered copyrighted materials. I hope that you will enjoy viewing the personal photographs I have posted.
Please visit my dear friend Pam who died much too soon.

Wow! What a mess! Hope you can get to the bottom of it someday. Thanks for letting us know. If there are any transfers or changes necessary, we'll be happy to make them.

Glad to help. This is a tricky one, and I'm still not sure we have it 100% correct. But it's a bit better now, I think.
I added a photo on Pam's memorial..You may want to go and fix the order of pictures...I can't get in the lounge so am letting you know here...

Thanks for the reply - I certainly can appreciate your desire for proof (and that's why I gladly submitted it with my request for reason for declination) :-) . I too, don't trust all the leaves, as people add them to their sites without reviewing - I definitely see that time and again! I get very aggravated when I see family tree info copied into tree after tree without any verification of sources. Much appreciated (in this case, my husband's direct line is the Caviness side). Thanks again - and if you want me to email you a copy of her death cert - just let me know and I'll be glad to send it on for your own files.
thanks again, -leslie

Thank you so very much for leaving a token! He was a kind, gentle, cheerful person I had known since 2nd grade. A combat medic, with no protection but that red cross.
