I have been doing genealogy for many years but focus most of my efforts on my wife's family and my own. I am always looking for photos of family members to add to my personal family tree. I appreciate any additional information I obtain from anyone. I will glady transfer management of any memorials if requested unless the memorials are of very close kin.|

You are welcome. It was my pleasure. -- Earle
|David Hill||RE: James M|
Looks like Wm and Covington were both in the 8th LA Inf, but no James. There are 7 J.M. Burnett and 3 James M Burnett on the Confederate roster, but none from LA. All I could find, sorry

The name of the descendant and a sibling are identical --Vena E Youngblood Fisher (1906 - 1984)
|Earle Soukup||Memorial 149225684|
For the referenced memorial, there appears to be a contradiction in the information about siblings.
|RWS||RE: James M.|
Have not found his headstone or his date of death. I have sent more info to you via e-mail.

|BBovenzi||James M Burnett|
I am wondering if you have any further information on James M. Burnett. He is my first cousin, four times removed. Do you have any details on his regiment in the CSA? I have not been able to track down anything. In addition, the date of death on the memorial may be incorrect. It may correspond to a different James Burnett who fought for the Union Army in Illinois and is buried in Little Rock National Cemetery. See http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=burnett&GSiman=1&GScid=109422&GRid=73482833&
The pictures you have added are wonderful and a great tribute. Thanks for your help!

|Janet Fletcher||Richard Fletcher|
Sorry, Mark Hardin Fletcher & Martha Jane Ravens Fletcher were Richard Fletcher's GREAT Grandparents. His grandparents were Richard Upshaw Fletcher and Martha Susanna Stapleton Fletcher.
|Janet Fletcher||edit request denied|
Robert, your request to edit Richard Fletcher's parents is incorrect. Richard Fletcher was my father in law. His parents were Claude Esteese Fletcher b. 1894 (memorial # 100370762)and Nellie Moore Fletcher b. 1897 (memorial # 100370761). Mark Hardin Fletcher and Martha Jane Ravens Fletcher were his grandparents.

I believe your Find A Grave Memorial #124012756 for Martha Jane Ravens Fletcher is a duplicate of 85107502. Picture of headstone is shown.

You are so welcome! Are you related to them? Ernestine's father, Ernest C. Fory, was the brother of my great grandfather, Russell Fory. I just added a sister of theirs at this cemetery as well. Mary Ruth Fory Reeves.
