I live in the Wairarapa, New Zealand with my husband & 2x children. I have enjoyed helping people find lost & missing family members over the past few years. Feel free to leave me a message if you have extra information for someone.|
I am trying to add all local entries, but I also enter the deaths from the local paper, so I can connect them with any family at these cemeteries. (I do not keep copies of the obituary). For those entries which I have just the year of death date I have estimated the persons birth date, if you know the correct DOB date let me know and I will insure the correct information is entered. I am not related to 99.9% of my entries.
Many people like being able to see family members headstones as they don't live near but others may not, If you want a family member removed feel free to let me know. I am happy to do this.
I don't need to be abused for this to happen.
If I have made an error I'm also happy to change this.

I really appreciate all the work you've been doing. I live in the States now, but my family are descended from early Carterton settlers, the Chews, Dixons and Bassetts. I've been able to connect a lot of their graves through all your efforts, and add more from Clareville. I was even able to visit in May.
Hi Jo Jo, I was sending you a request to link Anne Maria Ticehusrt Udy to her parents and noticed you had her on there twice # 125121726 and # 105346697
I thought you'd probably want to combine those into one.

was wondering if, whenever you get the time, you could take a photo for me of young Gillian's headstone
Have been trying to find out more about her, like parents and her school etc. Thought she may have gone to West School and that her headstone may show parents ...
thank you in advance

Hi Jo Jo
I have noted that Charles Keith Mountford and Louise Cecelia Tunnicliffe are buried in the Riverside Cemetery in the Masterton District Council website at http://www.mstn.govt.nz/services/cemetery
On find a grave you have them listed at Greytown Cemetery
Thought I would query it, hope you dont mind

Hi Jo Jo,
I sent you notes re the memorials for Alan Blake and Walter Reside, then I thought maybe you have prepared others for All Blacks buried at Archer St. And you have: Walter Reside and William Watson. I have prepared memorials for many All Blacks and would be happy to add some words for these great men.

I saw on this site "find a grave" data from Thomas Cornelis van Gerven deceased on 06.01.1997 and buried at Riverside Cemetery in Masterton (Wellington, New Zealand).
I am looking for as much information as possible about the families van Gerven, this is also the name of my mother.
In the photo, I can not see well the birthdata but I think it should be 1936.
He was born in Eindhoven (North Brabant - Netherlands) and his parents Theodorus van Gerven and Antonia Cornelia Dekkers.
Do you know the name of his wife Deidre?
Do you sometimes have more data about people with the surname van Gerven?
The name of Gerwen have my interest to because it often a clerical error was made.
I would like to hear from you.
North Brabant - Netherlands

Puzzled, and concerned I evidently made a mistake, I've checked...
Frank Stanley SNELL and Jessie Gladys SNELL nee SUTHERLAND had a son, Leslie Sutherland Snell, male, b13/12/1928 (I have the relevant BMDs for all this, and more). Frank and Jessie are in Greytown. According to your work, there is a Leslie Sutherland Snell there too...
(I advised you wrong gender for 'my' LSS, apologies - it was a careless error, I have correct gender in my records).
|Renny Snell||RE: Leslie Sutherland SNELL|
Thankyou for your message, and my sincere apologies to you and Suzanne for the error.
