I am available for graveyard photography in the Mansfield, Ohio area, and am willing to help (on a limited basis) with genealogical research in Mansfield/Richland County. My ancestors and family are mainly to be found in Phelps, Dent, and St. Francois Counties of Missouri. My memorials for the Beer family are the ancestors and relatives of my wife. Feel free to contact me if you have any additional information, suggestions for changes, or just want to chat about family matters.
91522837 Hello, In the picture you have here. There are two family names one is Greth and the other is Maiyer. Is it possible you give me the dates on the Maiyer side I have the names but not the dates. I have enlarged the photo and still am unable to see the date. Thank you in advance for your help. Frankeberger - Find A Grave Memorial# 76887992 Hello. I wanted to say thank you for posting the grave stone photo of William Frankeberger. I'm wondering if you would be willing to allow me to post your photo on my Ancestry.com file (as well as any other photos of my family you have taken). I give credit in the description of the photo and advise others to contact the "owner" of the photo for permission on their own.
RE: Melone/Malone - Shoemate McCager is rare word but many names were spelled phonetically back in the day. One biblical variation may have been Michaiah. And yes, feel free to post the information we have discussed. ron
RE: Melone/Malone - Shoemate Thanks for the info, cousin. I have never found the Farris connection. I checked in Dent County, Mo. as well. I would like to leave you with an unusual tidbit, if my research is correct, about Micajah "McCager" Melone/Malone.
Mary Elizabeth Shoemate was born November 11, 1845. She married Silas G. Jones one month after the beginning of the War Between the States on May 27, 1861. Silas G. Jones was a Corporal in the UNION'S 3rd Reg't Cav. Vols. He enlisted on August 1, 1862 in Rolla, Mo. He died at Benton Barracks January 8, 1863.
Mary Elizabeth married again to Micajah "McCager" Melone/Malone after the Civil War on September 17, 1865. He was a private in Company D of Missouri's 4th Reg't Cavalry for the CONFEDERACY. This is my first encounter with a woman who married two soldiers, one from each side of the Civil War.
Delilah was born on August 23, 1850. She married Samuel Malone
Melone/Malone - Shoemate I am descended from William Clayton Shoemate, father of Mary Elizabeth and Deliah. These sisters married into the Melone/Malone family of Crawford and Phelps counties of Missouri. I was wondering if you had any old photos you would be willing to share. I am compiling a Wilson Family of Shannon County, Mo. face book page. Thank you for your time and response. ron brake of Eureka, Mo.
