RE: Georgetown, SC Jewish Cemtery
Toby, this 1910 transcription from the Jewish Cemetery in Georgetown is a great document. I am not sure why your message was routed to me, though. I contributed a couple of things to that cemetery's site but I'm not an administrator for it.

There are several things I can think of that you could do.
1. Write to info@findagrave and ask if the cemetery page could include a link to that document.

2. Use the information in the document to add memorials to the cemetery, if they are not already there.

3. Link to the document from someone's biographical section of their memorial (I can't do this because the person I added isn't listed in the document).

That is a nice find and I have marked it for my records!

Janet

RE: balin
no problem. I figured you were busy and would get back in touch when you could. That's funny about the pronunciation of your name. No one is ever able to pronounce my last name they always want to say pizza or pizaro, but it's pronounced Pizz-zorro. But anyway let me know if you have any other pics that you need taken. Talk to you soon.
sincerely,
noreen

ballin/balin
hi,
I was just entering the pictures for betty ballin and noticed that her last name is spelled balin. I did a quick search on the cemetery's website and found that the plot directly behind them have the last name balin or a version of that last name. They are Harold Balin, Sonia and Abraham Balinky and Rose Koock. If they are related to you let me know and I will go back and retrieve those pics for you.
sincerely,
noreen

oops sorry I forgot to mention that I asked for Abraham's name to be edited. In a few days it should read Abraham Eli Ballin, nickname Abby.
