Andrew Thomason
Memorial #33014164
Hi Betty,

Despite the fact that my great-grand uncle, Young John Thomason, is buried in the family plot in the Ball Ground Community Cemetery, he actually died in Atlanta, Fulton, GA. I have a virtual copy of his death certificate.

Best wishes,
Andrew (Tom) Thomason

Lydia Williams Shirley
Good afternoon.
Under the photo for the tombstone for Lydia Williams Shirley at the Shirley Cemetery, Pickens Co., Ala. could you place a comment relaying that her current gravestone/marker is a replacement placed in the 1990s by Katie and Jimmy Channell, and Dr. David Nelson, all of Tuscaloosa. Lydia's original marker became broken soon after 1900, and was later displaced. The new marker essentially has the same inscription/information etc. as the original stone placed at Lydia's death.
Thanks!
-David N.
