Would you please link Louisa Skinner Alcott to Stephen & Mary Chamberlain Skinner? Louisa was their youngest daughter and my 3rd great grandmother. Louisa's Find-a-grave memorial is 74077697
Thanks so much. I do have dates for all but one of Stephen's other children from my grandmother's DAR applications, if you would like to add them. Just leave me a note and I could email to you. ~Ann

Nice to meet another descendant of Stephen. I descend from Stephen and Mary Chamberlain Skinner's youngest son, Justin Skinner, who moved to Darke County, Ohio in 1836, after the death of his wife Alma Norton. I'm glad that I put the new marker Stephen and Mary's gave in Sep 1994 with the NSDAR marker. I was afraid that the original one might one day disappear.

Thank you for the picture of the headstones and adding Stephen and Mary Chamberlain Skinner to findagrave. They are my 5th great grandparents. In 1994, their original stone was flat on the ground and in 2010 it is nearly covered. I had the new headstone added in Sep 1994 and marked with the NSDAR marker. Their youngest son, Justin Skinner moved to Darke Co, OH in 1836 where he died in 1863.
Hello, regarding the dates in question for birth. I will put out a request as soon as I can to see if we can get a pic. Am sure I got from family papers or old obits. Cant remember now.

|Neil B (John 3:16)||Hello Sandy,|
Just stopped by to say hi. There are so many friendly, wonderful, and helpful people on this site.
I added the links and information for the Skinner family per your request. I see you added some photos taken in Sherburne, NY. When did you visit? My wife and I were there in Nov. 2008.
Let me offer you a warm welcome to Find A Grave. Good talking with you and thanks for your contributions!
