Bio and Links
Bio Photo I finally had to change my profile picture. The old picture of my youngest son was quite out of date considering he's going into 2nd grade next year :( He still enjoys going out to take pictures with me so there's still hope for him!
There are so many old cemeteries in this part of NC so we are trying to post as many interments as possible to help all you researchers out. Also, most of the stones they used for markers in the 1800's are not standing up to the elements very well so it's a race against time to get as many pictures as possible. If you are looking for more NC relatives, I am working with the team of volunteers at cemeterycensus.com. They have surveyed and taken pictures of a ton of cemeteries in central NC.

One of the most popular questions I get emailed is asking permission to use "my" photos. The short answer is yes, you can use any pictures I have taken. I don't require references or accreditation because that's not why I joined the website and volunteer to take photos. I don't consider them my property unless you use them to somehow make millions of dollars (then I'd appreciate a small kickback) :)

May 2016

Knocked out the Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, NC last month and turned in my book to the local library. Next up I guess is the dreaded Alamance Memorial Gardens. I am not a fan of memorial gardens because they are very open and extremely active. I always stay out of sight if there is a service going on and in this cemetery, that is almost a daily occurrence. There are 18 sections and a mausoleum. We currently have 4 1/2 done and the count is already up around 10,000. I can't guarantee this will get completed!

Thanks for transferring his memorial to me. It is much appreciated. I see you do lots of great work for Find A Grave and that, too, is much appreciated. Take care.

Date Error
Hi there. First of all, I want to say thank you for adding information to some grave records. In other news one of your records has a wrong death death. I believe it is Robert Lutterloh. Death date is 30 years before his birth date lol. I am related through the sharp side of the family.

Many thanks for all the wonderful work you are doing! I have found many of my family members on Find A Grave. IN particular many heart felt thanks for the Windham memeorials in Pine Hill Cemetery and all of the recent linking you have done on them for me! Wishing you all the best!

RE: edits
I am doing some wedding photography this weekend so I plan on hitting Pine Hill after this is done. Also before it gets hot...

I have done a lot around the fountain at AMP since my dad is in that area so we may run into some already done there....

RE: Rev. John Paul Hill
Farther North. Blacksburg, Roanoke, Botetourt areas. We consider it South-West Virginia but its not really compared to Duffield which is really South-West!
