Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy for close to 30 years specializing in my mothers paternal line, the BITLER family. I am documenting all descendants of Johannes Bitler, now numbering over 30,300 descendants. He arrived in the early 1700's and died in Robeson Township, Berks County, PA.

I am know to spend a lot of time exploring cemeteries across eastern Pennsylvania and some other states, and have accumulated many photos of both family and non-family members to share on find-a-grave.

All the photos I've posted here have been taken by me and they are freely given to anyone who wants to use them. All I ask is that proper photo credits be given for them. I hate seeing disclaimers that the photos here can't be used anywhere else. If you don't want them available to the public to use, then please don't post them.

If I have posted a memorial that is in your family and not in my research, ask, and I will be happy to turn it's ownership over to you.

PS...Bertha wife of Millard Gross
I'm a bit confused on Millard Gross's wife. His obit. says her maiden name is Miller. Is that correct?

Ida A. Seiple Gross
Hi Glen,

TYSM for the amazing work you do here at findagrave! I've only done about 40 in the last 2 weeks....and I'm ready for a vacation!!!

Anyway...I've been working on Samuel Gross, and Ida Seiple for the last 2 years and have gathered quite a few of her documents, her parents, and siblings. If your interested in those, I'd be happy to give you an invite to our family tree on or I can just pass the info to you here.

Ida married my 2nd ggrand-father after his 1st wife (my 2nd ggrandmother died) died. I was hoping you might have information on his 1st wife Annie Fischer?

I'd be grateful for any tidbits you could part with!!

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for the message. I have updated Reuben's memorial with information that I was able to locate. If you have additional info, would you please send it?

RE: Clara Bannon
She married Paul Kasher. My father, Arthur Eugene "Art" Bannon, was born out of wedlock on January 30, 1941. His grave link number is: Find A Grave Memorial# 29567460

Paul died, and she remarried late in life to Robert Sockel. She is listed as Clara K. Sockel on her death record.

Her Find a grave link is: Find A Grave Memorial# 2582232.

She is the twin sister of Eugene Bannon, Find A Grave Memorial# 80687655

Many thanks!

Many thanks.

Mary Ella Wolfe Bannon
Hi! In the list/links of children of Mary Ella Wolfe Bannon, you left out my grandmother, Clara Bannon. She was the twin sister of Eugene Bannon. If you look up in the obituary, you will see her as "daughter, Clara, of Reading." Please add her to the list of children. Many Thanks. Heather Bannon Latham

Request for Little H. C. Stewart photo
Hi, I checked the cemetery today and was unable to find a memorial stone. There was a memorial for a Charles Stewart and Mary Stewart a space and then a memorial to Edith G. Stewart. I know from looking at the Lyon County Genealogical web site a Little H.C. Stewart is listed in the 1940 survey of the cemetery done by the D.A.R. for Pleasant Ridge (South Lyon County). I poked around with a metal rod to see if the stone was buried but that was negative also. Sorry I could not find a memorial stone to photograph for you.
