|Kent Gardiner||Thomas Gray|
Hi, Here is what we think we know:
Janet Stewart and her husband Thomas Gray are buried in the Toowong Cemetery with their grave markers removed or missing. When I went to Toowong Cemetery about 8 years ago, I spoke to the a chap working in the office who pulled out the file for the Gray family.
In 1975 they sent a letter to a Miss A Walker, Thomas & Janet eldest daughter, Margaret is married to a Walker so I am guessing that ďAĒ is one of Margaretís daughter or grand-daughters. Anyway BCC wrote to her about maintenance on the graves. When they hadnít heard anything aftert 6 months, the council removed what was on the ground. NH

Thanks for the work you are doing. Here is a page on the lives of John and Jane Stewart. It lists their children and has a photo of the "family plot."
Their grave markers have a cement curb around them but no markers as you already know. Just dirt. Sad, because they were pioneers in the area and had 12 children. Maybe one day the family will gather some funds and place some stones.
You seem to be one of the more active members of FindAGrave. Keep up the good work.

When you are thousand of miles away from deceased family it is nice to have a photo of their grave markers. Thanks so much for the photo of Charles and Annie's marker. Best regards and bless you,

Hi, Thanks for posting the photo of Annie Stewart's grave marker. Nice work!
Yes, I will accept the edits.
I would like to express my sincere thanks for obtaining the photo of my husbands Great Great Grandmother!! We were able to load the photo into ancestry and close a gap in our family tree. We live two days drive from Brisbane and were amazed that someone would actually take the time out for strangers! thank you so much!

Hello again Bevo
Many thanks again for taking and posting photos of the grave of Alma Neller Schloss and her husband Joseph Richard Schloss in Nudgee Cemetery. I do hope that this did not cause you too much trouble but I am very grateful for your help and kindness.
You may be interested to learn that, to keep the Find A Grave wheel of cooperation turning, I have created a new page for Narrabri Lawn Cemetery near to the NSW-Queensland border. I had found four Kneller's
buried there (following the closure of Narrabri Old Cemetery) and have now been able to create Find A Grave memorials for them. Should you have any interest in anyone buried there you will now be able to post memorials for them as well. Just my small way of saying thanks for all your help.
