I am currently working on finding my lost relatives. My Brothers and I have been searching for our roots, which for the most part are in Columbia and Dutchess County New York. Family surnames of interest are Moore, Rifenburgh, Sigler, Minkler, Bathrick, Burwell, Shurrager, Johnson, Decker, Kellerhouse and Cornelius. This search is the paternal side of our Family. The maternal side can be found in Poland since my Mother's parents were both from Poland or Russian occupied Poland. I currently live in Central Pennsylvania and have been making trips back home for research and Family visits. | |

 | Stinson Hi,
I transferred the memorial for Winfield to another contributor in error, but I contacted them (they are very nice!) and they will transfer it to you.
Thanks! | | | CarolynMMP

 | Siglers, Columbia & Dutchess counties Are you related to the Siglers? If so, I'd be happy to transfer them to you. Just send me a list of who you want SusanAdded by Susan on Oct 16, 2012 4:33 PM | | | Ed DeSteiguer
 | Oliver Shurrager I found the post for Mary Jane Johnson Shurrager on Find-a-Grave. My great great grandfather was Oliver P. Shurrager (maybe spelled Shurragar). He was born in New York in 1814 and died in Jackson County Michigan. He was a Civil War vet. He and his wife, Margaret, had 4 kids: Emma (my great grandmother) Franlkin, Edward and Charles. I am trying to learn more about preceding generations of Shurragers. Can you provide any information? Do you know about the Shurrager family history. What nationality were they? When did the come to the U.S.? I know very little about these people. My now-deceased mother seemed to think they may have lived in Pennsylvania at one time. There seems to have been a New York, Hudson River Valley connection for the Shurragers. Were they originally Dutch perhaps? Any info would be appreciated. Regards, Ed
