I have been researching family histories for several years and enjoy helping others in their search. Love genealogy, history, art, photography, and of course cemeteries! |
If you have a photo request for either St. Anns in Cranston, RI or St. Francis in Pawtucket, RI please send me the section and plot number. I am more than happy to photograph the grave marker for you.
Please feel free to use my photographs.

First, I "Thank You" for your dedicated work. :)
I wanted to contributed the following correct / valid information pertaining to my Grand Uncle Jesse Colby's Genealogy Family History so, the records are up to date.
My Uncle Jesse married his 1st wife,Beatrice Williams, but they were divorced while he was serving away during World War 2. They had NO children.
Your should know that Bea remarried to General JOY, her 2nd husband, and they had 4 children and remained living in this area through out their lives.
Uncle Jesse's 2nd, and finally wife, was *Aunt *Alice. To the best of knowledge she originated from the Albany, New York area.
*I am requesting that my Uncle Jesse's Genealogy be corrected as to aid others who are researching with this confirmed, valid information pertaining to Uncle Jesse's life.
Uncle Jesse was laid to rest within the North Jay Neighborhood Cemetery beside his Parents, My Great Grandparents, Ed and Lydia Colby and his 3 year old sister, Grace. They are within the Colby ~ Wilkins Family Plot, which is located here, in Au Sable Forks, Essex Co. New York. It is about 3 miles from our home.
Sadly, it is very confusing for most Folks who see North Jay Cem. and think it's part of Jay. New York, when in fact it is NOT all! Hope this info is helpful.
Please feel free to contact me. Thanks again Diane. ~ Sharron. ~ 10th Sept. 2013
May I use your photos for my tree on Ancestry?

Thanks so very much for transferring Bertie to our account.
The Gravess are an important part of my wife's family ancestry.
Thank you so much for the transfer!

Thank you for the picture and the transfer.
|Ellen Dumas||Blanche V. Messier|
Blanche V. Messier, buried in Chateaugay, NY (St Pats Cemetery): the date you have is the date of her birth not death. Maiden name was Vincent.

Diane, more than welcome.
Considering our weather lately...bring your high water boots...LOL! Just kidding...that cemetery is on a hill...
