Sarah Ann Swords McGill
Hi,Dan,

I wish to express my thanks to you for taking a picture of the headstone for the above lady and for putting it on Find A Grave. Her brother is my direct ancestor. You have no idea how much time, energy and expense has been put into finding her final resting place by the four people who have been looking for her!

Thanks, again,
Christine Swords Worthy

James McGill & Sarah Ann Swords McGill
Hi Dan,

I saw your photos of St-Antoine-Abbé Catholic Cemetery in Franklin Township, and would love to get photos of the headstones/monuments for my great-great-parents,
James McGill & Sarah Swords McGill, who are also buried there.

Their dates are:
James b. 1815, d. 1881(or 1891)
Sarah b. 1829 (or 1828), d. 1918

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My thanks,
Chris

Marg Odel Died 1890
I found this on the Huntingdon Gleaner website

07-19-1890 Margate Orr, relict of the late William Odell, died suddenly of paralysis of the brain, at her residence, Hemmingford Quebec, age 66 years.

RE: Thomas Shorrock edit notice
You and the Gleaner are correct, Thomas did die on Nov 5, and this also is what it says in his death notice published in the Montreal Gazette on Nov 6.
I took the date of death from genealogiequebec - a great site that I have subscribed to for a couple of years now.
So, I'm sorry, I'll have to ask you once again to make a change to Thomas' memorial.

I think many contributors are still not aware of the new style Edits. Any Edits not acted upon are completed by Find A Grave administrators after three weeks.

I'll continue to send you the old style Edits, if I have more...even if they are for Thomas.

Thanks for your help.

Please accept my apology for omitting your first name Dan on my last reply. That's what I get for not reviewing it before hitting the send button.

RE: Henry Death
Thank you also Mark, for finding and placing the memorial for my 3x Great Grandfather. It's wonderful to be able to join him with his wife and their children. My grandmother Ella Loretta Lenora Deeth Cuffle, would have loved to have lived and seen this day. She said her grandfather changed the spelling of their last name, because the Americans would always mispronounce their surname like a burial(dea) instead of (dee). Very understandable why they changed it. Thank you again for your time and kindness....
