I'm the historian for the First Congregational Church of Norwich and the city cemeteries historian for the Norwich Historical Society. I also serve as a board member for the Connecticut Gravestone Network, and the Maplewood Cemetery. Researching and studying cemeteries, gravestones, death and burial traditions has been my passion for many years. I am fascinated by the art, spirituality and human history. Burial customs run deep within any society or culture and, for those who understand them, provide incite as to how people untimately relate to and find their place in this life experience.|

Excellent! Don't know why but it's happened to others like that on here too. Thanks for the fix :)

The photo you attached to this memorial for Earl Elmer LAMICA appears upside-down. Would you be able to rotate it & submit it again?
Thanks so much,

The picture you had posted for Lydia Sherman does not match the dates listed on the gravestone.
|Mary Lou McCormick||Question...|
My question is have you ever come across a cemetery called Brumbley Cemetery? It is in the Town of Norwich New London County, Connecticut. I am researching Spicers and Brombley/Brumbleys buried in Norwich. I found the cemetery through a Google search but can't find it listed in Find A Grave.
Any help you can give me would be appreciated...
I found it listed under the hale-collection.com
Thank you, Mary Lou

Thanks so much for the photo of my cousin. I've been waiting for a long time for this photo. Thanks for your time and effort in finding his grave and the stones of his in-laws, the Frechettes.
