I'm interested in genealogy and history. |
I've spent a good bit of time in cemeteries of late taking photos. It seems a good idea to share those with others by posting them to Find A Grave.
Hopefully, others will appreciate the opportunity to find photos of family markers when it is not practical for them to actually visit the cemetery.
You're welcome to use the photo;credit would be appreciated.
If I can help with a photo of a tombstone in Western Jefferson County, I'll be glad to try.

|J Rice||Pierce family|
I noticed on a listing for William Britt Pierce that you had indicated in a message that he was a brother to you g-g-grandfather, Wesley Pierce. I have been searching my Pierce ancestors in AL for a while now but have not had much luck finding information beyond by g-g-grandfather JJ Pierce. I did finally find a newspaper article from 1911 indicating that he was visited by his brother Britt Pierce. I was hoping you would be able to let me know if you have any information confirming that William Britt Pierce is one in the same with Britt Pierce which would also link your Wesley with my JJ (James Jackson) Pierce.

Thank you . I appreciate you looking.
|Leigh Milazzo||Infant Parsons|
Hoping if you can help me. I am looking for a sister who would have died very young between 1943 - 1946. She was the infant daughter of Walter Hugh Parsons and Frances Louise Verdier Parsons.
Many thanks if you could shed some light on whether she is buried in Alabama.

Hi, I see I mistyped, I meant William M. Lewis. In either case he is not related. I arrived at poor young William by way of family married blank who married bland :) And thank you for the updates you just made for Raymond Walter Lewis. I did put in two photo requests for Lewis" in Bethlehem if you are ever down that way. Thanks and best regards, Jan

Thanks Bailey. It is a work in progress at Old Hepzibah. I uncovered a few more graves that weren't listed on findagrave. I have added them. There are so many that are marked with just a flat stone. I wish I had the original transcript to add everyone here. Thanks for your kind words. It is sad to see it in such shape. I don't have any family in the cemetery. I just adopted it because it needs it so bad.

|Ken Marks||Missouri Bailey's sister|
Sorry to bother you but I think that Missouri Bailey's sister is my Great Grandmother and I was wondering if you would have any information on her? She was born Mary Etta Foster and in the 1900 census she had a son named in the census as Chase McDaniel. I believe to be Charles McDaniel AKA "Charles McDaniel Marks" My Grandfather. If you can help me in any way it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you for your time. Ken Marks House Springs Missouri
