We are a retired Navy couple, so please let us know if there is a military headstone you need that is in our area, will make sure you get it...|
We are working on getting the GPS locations and pictures of the Prince William County area cemeteries. if you need anything, just let us know.
NOTICE: If you want to use any of my photos that we have posted on Find A Grave, you are welcome to do so as long as it is for genealogical research and is neither immoral or illegal. We keep the original, higher resolution pictures for all pictures we take in our county and are very willing to share them upon request.
Transfer Requests... It seems many folks don't have any manners when it comes to requesting a transfer... The people who send rude/demanding correction requests also need to learn some manners if they want the changes made. Yes, mistakes/typos can happen. Acting like it is your right to be rude and demand changes about it is uncalled for.
Remember: Genealogy without documentation is mythology!

|Robin Brass||Thank you|
Thank you for taking the time to take the photo's of the headstones at Quantico. I live in NY and my nephew is buried there. The last time I was there was for his burial (with honors) and never saw his headstone. Until now.

Maria & Dale - Thank you for transfrring several Davis memorials and related family members to me after I made suggestions. I can assure you they will be well cared for as we find out details of their lives. Great work you have done on this cemetery. Anne Rupert
|Crystal Schneider||Thanks you -- Harriet Beedle|

Hi Marie and Dale,
Thank you for your work on this site and posting pictures so that as we find our relatives, we have more than a name but also a location and possibly a picture. Your post was very helpful to me while researching my paternal family. Harriet is my fourth great-grandmother. After confirming this relation with librarians in the area, I have since visited Virginia. I don't know if you are related to her but if not, would you mind transferring her memorial to me? If not, I understand. Also, her birthdate is April 30, 1793 (courtesy of RELIC, Manassass Library) and other documentation. Would you please update the date and location which is Groveton, Prince William County, Virginia?
Thanks again for your dedication to helping others to find out more about our ancestors!
|Cindy Cornwell McCachern||Thanks|
Thanks for transferring Edward Posey. I appreciate it. Hope all is going well for you.

This couple is buried in Bacon Race Church Cem. You have the "Virginia" listed as Elvira Virginia Cornwell. Could you tell me where you obtained that information and who her parents were?
