I have been transcribing cemeteries for a few years, many here in Somerset County, NJ. |
I do a lot of research in Penna, both York County and Snyder County (family/college). I've begun to try to update a Snyder county book (Wagenseller) of Snyder County graves that was published about 1900, focusing on, but not exclusively, those cemeteries NOT included on the Snyder County website.

I'd like to have your permission to use your photo of the gravestone of George Willard McDowell and Margaret Ann Beekman McDowell in the Dayton Cemetery on my ancestry.com family tree, and any others that I should come across that I may have added over the years. Please let me know if this is okay with you. Thanks for your consideration. Gwen

|Natalie Gates||RE: Pine Grove Cemetery|
Thanks, Steve. Thought it was worth asking.
|Natalie Gates||Pine Grove Cemetery|
I see you posted a picture of Pine Grove Cemetery in September of this year of Perses Gates, wife of Henry. I found an old transcribed list from the same cemetery showing a Henry C. with illegible stone information other than son of Caleb and Anna. I was wondering if you took any other photos while you were there? I am wondering if this Henry (illegible last name) is Perses's hubby.
