Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a mother of 1 teenager and 3 doggies. I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years and can always be found wandering in a cemetery.

I am going to start inserting some of the grave sites here in Eastern NC. If I put some of your family up here and you would like a transfer please by all means let me know and I will be glad to transfer them over.

I am looking to have any
Judkins/Swanner/Giardina/Holt/Baril pages transferred to me if you all don't mind. Most of them I can update and it gives me something to do. I am also working on my husbands line of Gerard and Swinson, so if you have those and don't mind throwing my way or letting me know so I can see if I can add information to what you have then that'd be great. So thank you to all who transfer over and if I can help you let me know.

I am more than happy to get out hunting for headstones and cemeteries, there are tons around my area and I cover more than 8 counties with pleasure. If you are local to my area and want a hand in finding a headstone or company while tramping through a cemetery drop me a line- I have met many wonderful people and am always happy to go out cemetery hunting!

Also any memorials that I am holding that were created by Goldenrod102: I want to let you know that I am not the one who put the information there he did. I am holding these memorials in trust- if you are related and would like them transferred to you then please by all means message me let me know the memorial number and your member number- I check my mail daily and try to answer back within 24 hours. (Being rude to me will not get you anywhere) Other than that I am happy to send the memorials on to their kin.

Again I hate to say this but, PLEASE do not be RUDE to me- that's the fastest way to make me shut down and not help you or to have me return a snide comment- if you find a mistake on one of the memorials then simply say hey I noticed a mistake its blah blah blah- I make the corrections the minute I am notified of them, we are all human after all.

Now I am off my soap box, again if I can help let me know!!

RE: WILLIAM WHITFIELD II
Kat - You are THE BOMB!! I can't believe it. Now my work is cut out to get to connecting them and it will indeed be some tedious work, but I'm in. Thank you so very much and I thought I'd be waiting awhile, but you got in high gear!

I really do appreciate it, my whole family is interested, especially my brother in Nashville and I'm just really excited and appreciative. I should mention that my Great Grandfather Whitfield was like a father to my Daddy and his two brothers. Daddy was the baby but they were all were born two years apart; their father died of pneumonia when Daddy was 5 years old. They all lived together on the large home place here in Texas in two big old "gingerbread" style houses built in the 1800's. Grandpa Whitfield stepped up to the plate when Daddy's father died and was absolutely wonderful. His nickname was "Coot" and Daddy just adored him as well as his Grandma Whitfield, so the Whitfields are very, very special to me. I spent many hours and days myownself in the Whitfield home that my Grandmother Zola Whitfield Yankie inherited, and grew up in a house a stone's throw from her on our dairy farm. I was her little shadow. That's why the trunks with all the documents, letters and treasures were left to me.

When I get to connecting them, I'll make requests as I go if you have any of my dear Whitfield peeps.

Sending very kind regards your way,
Nancy Yankie Sidarous

RE: WILLIAM WHITFIELD II
I always have to work in spurts so I certainly understand! My 93 year old Mother lives with me --however, she's a great source. I will look at the other memorials Goldenrod has and see if there are some of my Whitfields.

I will send my requests (if any) through the edit properly for each one. Take your time. I'm thrilled each time a transfer comes through. It really makes my day because I Looove my family so much and have a lot to offer on them. My G Grandpapa C. William Whitfield would be proud.

Kindest Regards,
Nancy, #48149695

WILLIAM WHITFIELD II
I want to extend my most sincere heartfelt thanks for your valuable work, important preservation to all, but most important to family. You are so very generous and thorough!

I now go into my Grandmothers trunks for the treasures she left me that contain information on her, and MY ancestors! It is thrilling to me. Your work and these transfers are of major importance to me and my family.

I won't forget the day I found him, or the day you generously transferred him to me. He's a part of me and I first told my children. We are so happy and proud to come from a long line of brave, heroic, outstanding Whitfield's.

Thank you.

Kindest Regards,
Nancy, Many G's Proud Granddaughter of Capt Whitfield, a Grand Man

Can you provide any information on the Cherry Hospital Cemetery? Is it opened to the public and can it be photographed? Thank you for any information.

Julius Ingram #85603412
Hello, Julius Ingram is a relative of my husband, and I was wondering if we may use his gravestone photo on our personal family tree?
Thank you!
