I am the resident historian of both sides of my family and my husbands family. Currently my mother, grandmother and I are working on her side of the family so we can give our family an accurate picture of where we come from throughout Germany.
i am interested in Batman (Casey, Illinois), Burson (Casey, Illinois), Campbell (Canton, PA, Ager (Johnstown, PA),Wright(Lycoming County, PA), and Keagle from my own family. Along with my own family I have my husband's family; Preston(Canton, PA), McKee (Williamsport/Watsontown/Jeresy Shore Area, PA), Welch (Linden, PA), Smith (Williamsport, PA), Krise (Canton Area, Pa),Wilcox (Canton Area, Pa), and Bardo (Jersey SHore, pa). My Recent study has pointed me to Renninger, Wurster and Kiess (Anthony Cemetery, Woodward Cemetery & Blooming Grove) as well

Hi, I just made edits to his record. They all come from his obituary, published by the church of which he was the pastor. It says of his date of death: "His last sermon he preached on the morning of New Year's Day, exerting all his strength, and preaching with great unction. from Isa, 41:10. After the service, he enjoyed his noon-day meal with his family, then went to bed to rest, fell asleep and passed without apparent pain or struggle into the sleep of death. At 3 o'clock in the afternoon his spirit passed into his eternal home. His age was 66 years, 10 months and 5 days."

Do you know where Hester and her husband are buried? Pat

While fullfilling your request for a photo of the stone for Edward Kiess in Christian Hill Cemetery, Lycoming County, PA, I noticed that Regina H. Kiess was buried next to him. I photographed her stone also and created a memorial for her and uploaded her photos. I did not link Regina to Ed as spouse because I don't know that they are, although there is a good chance they are. If she is a relative of you or your husband I will transfer management of her memorial to you.

Chrissy, we've all missed stones before. If you recall the layout of Edgewood Cemetery, when you enter the cemetery the majority of the graves are on the right hand side, but there is a narrow strip of graves on the left of the cemetery lane that runs all the way to the top of the hill. The Wright's et. al. are in that narrow strip of graves about two thirds of the way up the hill on the left.

In addition to fullfilling your request for a photo of the stone for John M. Wright , I also took photos of other stones in the same plot. They include: Nancy, Wife of John M. Wright; Dora E. Miller, Wife of John E. Wright; Linda E. Archer; and Charles R. Wright.
