I'm a passionate genealogist spending all my time on my own family tree including distant and married in ancestral lines while trying to dabble in as much genealogy volunteerism as possible. I'm even making it a career so I don't have to take breaks as much. ;) Hobby since 1999, profession since 2007.|

It looks like you added an incorrect photo to this memorial. Would you please take a look.

I just returned from the Asbury Cemetery in Cinnaminson, Nj and have uploaded pictures of Lydia, Samuel and Susan Severns to the Find A Grave pages. I know you did not request these photos so you would not get a notification e-mail stating they were posted. I hope you enjoy them and find some valuable information. (Lydia's birthdate for example. : ) ) Pat

I have talked to all the members of the Cemetery Project Committee to try to answer your question about the source of the middle names. Unfortunately no one can remember this entry of September 4th 2011. We tried to determine the answer to your question, but were unable to do so.
Sorry we could not be of help in this instance.

Hello, I was interested in your John Baldwin on find a grave. John Baldwin is also on my family tree. Would like to hear from you
I transferred your great uncle to you. So happy to keep family together.
So happy to be able to transfer your ancestor's memorial to such a caring family member!

15 August 2013
Leaving a public message seems a whole lot easier than wading through your many genealogical involvements to reach you directly. Regarding Rock Chapel in Adams County: note that all of the Studebaker / Studebecker burials are family members of Peter "G" Studebaker. Please note the middle initial "G" which differentiates him from other Peter Studebakers in Adams and York counties. Much of the research of earlier genealogists of Peter G., as published in "The Studebaker Family in America, 1976" is incorrect and incomplete. But it provided the basis of my research to, hopefully, "set the record straight." Can share selected data via GEDCOM for Find A Grave if receptive.

Clement-line genealogist and Board member, Studebaker Family National Association

You had the section they were in and I happened to stumble accross them. The cemetery is quite large and is terraced around the valley it is in. To find a request without a section is like finding a needle in a haystack and the office people aren't very helpful unless you are related.
|jarp||RE: Alice S. Taughenbaugh|
Sorry for not repling sooner. Was hoping for a bad winter to get back on this site. I most likely put Alice in the wrong cemetery as my cousin was helping me with photo's and forgot to write down cemetery names. I'm in the process of re-visiting the cemeteries we did and making any corrections I need to make. I do have a great aunt Alice S. (Taughenbaugh) Lakin, but she's buried in Harrisburg. I will see where my mistake is and make the corrections. Thanks for letting me know about the error. If I do find another Alice in the Adams County area cemeteries I'll move her name into the correct cemetery.
