Update John sadly passed away on Oct. 10, 2015 very suddenly at home. He was my best friend and my partner in all things. We traveled many, many miles to out of the way cemeteries, old cemeteries, and town cemeteries to photograph tombstones. John did all the work of cleaning, digging out (sometimes) and just making the stone more readable so I could take a picture. |
I will miss him so very, very much.

I'm so sorry for your loss! In this day and age it's WONDERFUL to read about a happily married couple who were still 'Best friends' after all of those years. How blessed you both were to have found each other and how wonderful that you have so many happy memories! A part of him will always be with you... keeping you company and watching over you.
I hope that you have loving family and friends to help you cope.

Thank you for adding the memorial for my husband Pat Moore. I posted some photos plus edited his date of death to the 28th rather than the 15th. Thank you again for this memorial!

|Bryan Anderson||Hans Rasmussen|
Dear Diane and John,
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History of the 89th Division, Hans Rasmussen was a member of this unit. He was also severely wounded on 10/20/1918.
I'm not sure where I'm going with my project at this time, but I have aspirations of publishing something in the future. Would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Hans Rasmussen (Find A Grave Memorial# 45537934)?
With warm regards,
