It's important to make photographs of tombstones since so many are being destroyed by nature or people. That's the reason I'm interested in Find-a-Grave.
I'm happy to transfer almost any Memorial I've made. Don't hesitate to ask.

Samuel Smith 72263756
Samuel Smith has been in the news :) Someone bought his headstone from a flea market and figured out who he was and returned it. It had been stolen in the early 1980's.

Julia, Please note that I have updated her and her husbands bios with what I have. I would like to have someone familure with the area, investigate where her husband is actually buried as she may actually be buried next to him.

William & Molly Griffin
I am the second great granddaughter of William and Molly Griffin thru Sarah Virginia Griffin and James Tom Hollis. I really appreciate all of the information on the Griffin and Warren lines that you provided. What are your sources? Nathaniel Warren listed with the birth of 1782 and his father as 1775. Any thoughts?

Sarah Virginia was actually married 4 times, James Mallard the last. She married James Esom Gutherie on 21 Dec 1901 in Dyer County and is buried with him in the Fairview Cemetery. She had 3 sons with him: Warren, Vance and J. I. Gutherie. The 3rd husband was Cyrena McConnell on1 July 1933 in Dyer County.
