RE: Mary M. Spain
I have rechecked my records and have noted a previous response I sent to you regarding Mary M and William Spain. They are located in block 9, section B, grave 94. Mary in 2A and William in 2B. The name on the stone is FITZSIMMONS. Their names are not listed. I am sending you the photo of the stone to your email address. You can check my info for names and grave location at rcancem.org.

RE: Mary M. Spain
The request that I fulfilled was for the photo I posted. Mary E Spain. Perhaps you requested it unknowingly. They would not have sent you a "fulfilled" notice otherwise. I have nothing to do with that, all I do is post a photo to the memorial. I have Mary M Spain on my list to look for but have not found her yet. The cemetery is very large and at times the graves are hard to locate. I group as many requests as I can that are in the same block or close by on the days that I go there. I will try to look on my next trip there but it may be awhile as we are expecting a blizzard tomorrow. Martha

Mary M & William Spain.
The burial is listed as 9 B 94 2a &b. I have found the grave site, it seems to be a family plot but Spain is not the name listed on the stone. The name on the stone is Fitzsimmons. 3 of the 4 names on the stone are listed in the 1a,b & c graves. May is not listed in the online directory. There is no other stone and I checked all sides to see if Mary and William were there. They were not. Please let me know if you want the photo added to their memorials anyway. I will be posting within a couple of days. Martha

Spain at Holy Cross Cemetery
Will be happy to look for other Spain in cemetery but could you please add them as regular requests. I print out the list and special notes do not print. Also, you need only do for Mary M, Catherine and Mary E. The gentlemen are evidently spouses and buried with them. In all, there are 4 separate locations to check. Thank you. Martha

James/Evans
I just posted the James family. I also put a picture of the whole plot on Charles's memorial so you can see it. Dr. Evans is on the left. daughter Mary Rowland James is on the far right Is Dr. Evans a brother of Mary Evans James? There is a marker for a daughter of Charles and Mary named Lizzie who was born in June 1861 and died in October 1861. I think Jonathan James is buried elsewhere so I will go look for him. As you can tell the lettering is hard to read.
