I have combined my love of research, ancestry, and photography into a fun hobby by joining F-a-G. I am happy to take photos in southern York County, PA. I also try to visit grave yards during my travels elsewhere...much to the annoyance of my children.

RE: Jacob & Hannah Heckler tombstone
Hi Nina,
Thank you so much for taking the tombstone photo. It is a wonderful addition to the memorial. I live in NJ so don't get up to Berks Co, PA very often.

KEIM photo
Hello Nina, Can you please link your photo of the Keim memorial, showing Lucy Jane Randolph Keim's inscription & that of Lucius Bolling Keim onto Lucius' memorial (118561819)? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Jacob & Hannah Heckler tombstone
Hi Nina,
Jacob & Hannah Heckler are my 3rd gr-grandparents. Are you related? If so, love to exchange family info. Also, do you mind if I use the tombstone photo on my ancestry tree?

Johann George Bortner Gravestone marker
Hi, When I was looking at Johann George Bortner's Memorial site. I noticed that the photo of the gravestone marker you added to it was for Joanna wife of C. A. Bortner not Johann George Bortner. Can you please add a photo of the correct gravestone. Thank You

RE: Henry J. Miller
Hi Nina,

10,000! I didn't know that!

If it's any help, the Pennsylvania Veterans' Burial Record for Henry records his burial as Section S, Lot 102, Grave 4, and his marker is granite. This record was made in 1934, but I don't know if they've changed the map since then.

10,000! Now, that' a challenge!

My thanks and best wishes,

Henry J. Miller
Hi Nina,

I appreciate the time and effort you spent in attempting to locate the grave of Henry J. Miller.

I have nothing to reference Henry's burial place except for the Pennsylvania Veterans' Burial Record which gives the following information:

Name: Henry J Miller
Birth Date: 16 Oct 1838
Death Date: 19 Dec 1895
Age: 57
Military Branch: Army
Veteran of Which War: U.S. Civil War
Cemetery Name: Charles Evans Cemetery
Cemetery Location: Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania

The record was composed in 1934.

Best wishes for the New Year,
