I have lived in Belton, Missouri (Suburb of Kansas City, Missouri) for the past 21 years with Lauri, my wife of 30 years. Since our marriage in 1977, we have also called Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri home. Being a native Californian, I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lauri is a native of South Korea, but was raised in Hutchinson, Kansas.
My interest in genealogy began when I became curious about hundreds of old black and white snapshots of long departed relatives in my grandma's old photo albums. After a little research, I began discovering old obituaries, newspaper clippings and other family memorabilia. I had gone to Find A Grave in search of information about little known relatives and became hooked. We decided to post as much of our family history as possible by linking up memorials of various ancestors.
If I can help you with photo requests or any information regarding cemeteries in the Cass County and Jackson County, Missouri areas, please do not hesitate to drop me a line. I am always up for a new challenge. Lauri and I have spent long weekends tracking down leads and finding obscure cemeteries.

 | Augustine Larson Hey, My GGG granddad is Augustine Larson buried in the Curtis Cemetery in Curtis, NE He was called Capt. because he was a Sea Captain in Norway. He and his family came to America in 1872 from Norway. He was not in the Civil War. Thank you for all your work which has helped me find many of my people's resting places.

 | CPL Billy Mosier Jim,
Since you originally sponsored the Find A Grave Memorial for William Clarence "Billy" Mosier #13548607, I thought I would invite you to check out two pictures that I added to his memorial.
Also, Just recently the US Army dedicated a clinic that memorializes Billy Mosier. Here are a couple of URL's relating to that.

 | Cpl Billy Mosier Jim, Thanks for transferring Billy's memorial record to me. I'll have to see if I can locate a picture for his memorial. Dave | | | David A. Jones
 | Corp Billy Mosier #13548607 I would like to make a recommendation. It would be nice to make a findagrave two way Family Link between Corp Billy Mosier (William Clarence "Billy" Mosier) #13548607 and his parents Wiley Clayton Mosier #5052659 and Mary Ellen Ridle #5052658. What is in place today, allows you to link to his parents, but does not allow you to get to him from his parents. Once a findagrave Family Link is created, findagrave establishes the return link automatically.
I now have linked memorials for Billy's parents and grandparents (Mary Ellen's parents) plus pictures. I was hoping to have Billy linked as well.
Also, if you aren't related and want to transfer his memorial to me, then I would be glad to have it. Billy was my mother's 1st cousin. Mary Ellen Riddle and my grandfather Dave Riddle were brother and sister. | | | bmbloeb
 | Stubbs in White Cemetery Hi- Thanks for your thanks. :) I enjoy helping others as this site has been invaluable to me. I transferred ownership of Emma and Mary Stubbs. I am sorry Mary's gravestone photo isn't too clear. I will try to remember to take a better one next time I'm there.Added by bmbloeb on Jul 10, 2011 7:58 AM | | | Sandy Hicks Mullins

 | RE: Henry Terrell Carter Yes, I did find a good one of Henry Terrell Carter Find A Grave Memorial# 62242838 and wife Minnie Marie Moore Find A Grave Memorial# 62242927 who supposedly hung around with the gunslinger Jesse James.
Also found Henry's parents Thomas Jefferson and Ida Alice Carter Find A Grave Memorial# 34723165. Of course, looking for Thomas Jefferson Carter's parents has been fruitless so far. Still looking! I think T.J.C's dad was a Meredith, though I think he was killed and buried in his own back yard without a tombstone from what I've found. | | | Lorraine Hess
 | Alice Josephine Duffey Campbell Jim, I saw your postings on all the Duffey family members on Find-A-Grave web site and noticed a typo for Alice Josephone Duffey Campbell in her birthdate. You show her b. 14 Jun 1886, and it should be 14 Jun 1866. Thank you for all your hard work and the wealth of information you have provided.
