I live in Ordway, Colorado. I was born in LaJunta, Colorado and lived in Sugar City and Ordway, Colorado until I was six years old and then my family and I moved to Golden, Colorado where I was raised. My mother was from Crowley, Colorado and my father was from Sugar City, Colorado. My mother's last name was Kimball and my father's last name was Gerlock. I have four daughters', seven grandsons', three granddaughters', two great grandsons' and two great granddaughters'. I will find a grave anywhere in Crowley County, Otero County, Pueblo County, Bent County, Lincoln County, Kiowa County Colorado, etc. and I will eventually do all of Colorado. Also, if you have an obituary of the person or any suggestion e-mail me and I will put it on their memorial.|

Would you please delete one of the duplicate photos yo0u posted of the POW's headstone? The two are the same photo posted the same day - I assume in error.
Thank you for sharing the photos.

Just wanted to thank you for entering the memorials for the Farr family in this cemetery. They are my extended family and I didn't know where they were buried. Your memorials are very helpful.

I appreciate your offer to transfer my family plots. I am adding info that I know is not on the info asked for so people to look them up have all the info I can supply. In fact, I just added one of my brother info today. His is complete, but I have relatives in several cemeteries in Bent and Otero County. I, like my mom, are sticklers on info and want to make sure its there and if we know the info, we add it. I love this site. I feel it is a tribute to the family member. I will most like continue my families genealogy where my mother left off. I appreciate you doing what you are doing. My husband has been working on La Junta's cemetery, which we know has been read and done, but we know of errors and are also able to identify graves that were not identified. A lot of looking through records and taking the complete inscriptions off the head stones front and back. I will get back to you sometime to transfer those family members under my association number. Thank you again. Dianna Pennington Hendren

|Marla||Umphrey Markel Roser # 44068595|
I have a found a photo in my grandmothers collection that I believe belongs on this memorial. It states on the back: "Umphrey Roser, McCracken, Kansas, maybe 1915 or 1917". I was wondering if you knew anything about him or his family. My grandmother's maiden name was Markel, but I have not been able to make a connection to him. But think he might be since she had a photo. Just wondering if you could shed any light. Thanks

Thanks for catching my mistake, letting me know, and making the link to her correct mother. I deleted my edit linking her to Anna Elizabeth Holman Schell - that was her grandmother.

Patricia, your work is truly amazing and PRICELESS! Befor I ask for the transfer of my three cousins, do you transfer family outside of the very strict Find a Grave Guidelines? I'll proceed as you let me know what your policy is on transfers. I work on family only as I take care of my 94 year old Mother. Thanks again for the generous contributions you have made and are continuing to make. Kindest regards, Nancy Yankie (our name is spelled many ways, but mostly Yankey, Yankie and Yankee)
