Don retired in 2008 after 33 years of teaching - mostly Kindergarten & 1st grade. He now has more time to dedicate to his family history, which he has been working on for years. He lives in the Sierra Foothills in Mariposa County just outside of Yosemite NP. He is willing to photograph graves in the many small country cemeteries in this county. He is a local historian & is willing to do local research at our County History Center.|

|Virginia Bayes||RE: Cousins|
Oops, I had to re-read your note. Harriet and Lafayette were siblings so we are 3rd cousins, is that right? How lovely.
|Virginia Bayes||RE: Cousins|
Hello Cousin! I'll have to check ancestry.com for Harriet and see our precise relationship. Dr. Lafayette Hull is my maternal great grandfather. His daughter, Mabel, is my grandmother,mso she was Harriett's great niece. Have you discovered our ancestry back to the Hulls in Crewkerne, Somerset UK? We go back to the 1500s there.And Lafayette was a direct descendant of George Hull in 1620s Connecticut. We share a wonderful history!
Thanks so much for saying hello.

I had created some Zumwalt memorials as part of my photographing a cemetery. Someone else had asked about them, so we started a thread. Sorry I can't be of any more help :(

As you maintain both, I believe you can delete the extra one if you so choose.

Wondered if you noticed that the death date was January 23, 1963? You have a different date on the memorial...being as you are related you are probably more accurate. Just wanted you to note this. Thanks.

Hi Don !
Hope you are doing well and received my earlier email regarding your MyFamily sites. I was reviewing my records and info. of my great uncle, Leo J. Collins who was a good friend of Howard C. Bald from when he and his family had resided in Riverside, CA in 1910. Wondering if you would by any chance have an obituary for Howard? Leo being a bachelor, I don't have much to include on his FGS and thought Howard's obituary would be nice to include next to the Iowa Co., WI Democrat of July 10, 1933 (p8/c5) article, of when Howard and his wife stopped in Mineral Point to visit. With this article also indicating, "Mr. Bald is a cousin of Frank and Irvin Lynch".
Questions: 1. Would you have an obit for Howard C. Bald ?
2. Can you explain the relationship that makes Howard Bald a cousin to Irvin and Frank Lynch ?
Look forward to hearing from you, Don. I will be asking my computer man about transferring info from your family sites. Could you tell me what/how I should tell him to do?

Thank You so much for doing this. I have not been able to see my brothers marker and what a beautiful place to rest.
Don - the Clark(e)'s in my family are from England and then Rhode Island. Although, my grandmother, (I)della Corey Clark Niffeneger's family was from Ireland and Switzerland - i.e. William W Corey's and Almyra(Myra)Keller's. She (Idella)was born in Darlington, Laffayette County, Wisconsin.
(I)Della was married to George H. Clark (born in RI), my grandfather.
