Bio Photo Fear No More the Heat O' the Sun

Fear no more the heat o' the sun,
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Thou thy worldly task hast done,
Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages;
Golden lads and girls all must,
As chimney-sweepers, come to dust.

Fear no more the frown o' the great;
Thou art past the tyrant's stroke:
Care no more to clothe and eat;
To thee the reed is as the oak:
The sceptre, learning, physic, must
All follow this, and come to dust.

Fear no more the lightning-flash,
Nor the all-dreaded thunder-stone;
Fear not slander, censure rash;
Thou hast finished joy and moan;
All lovers young, all lovers must
Consign to thee, and come to dust.

No exorciser harm thee!
Nor no witchcraft charm thee!
Ghost unlaid forbear thee!
Nothing ill come near thee!
Quiet consummation have;
And renownéd be thy grave!

-- William Shakespeare

Living Bouquets

When I quit this mortal shore
And mosey 'round this earth no more,
Do not weep and do not sob;
I may have found a better job.
Don't go and buy a large bouquet
For which you'll find it hard to pay,
Don't mope around and feel all blue;
I may be better off than you.
Don't tell the folks I was a Saint
Or any old thing that I ain't.
If you have jam like that to spread,
Please hand it out before I'm dead.
If you have roses bless your soul,
Just pin one in my buttonhole
While I'm alive and well today;
Don't wait until I'm gone away.

Your comment on Black Jack Ketchum grave marker
I am the great grandson of Sam Ketchum, His brother Black Jack was my great grand uncle. I am the person that wrote the epitaph of Black Jack's grave at the request of the Clayton, NM Historical Society. Years ago I was a professional copywriter and proofreader. I am irritated every time I see your supercilious and erroneous comment that the word hanged is incorrect and that it should be hung. You are wrong and I would appreciate it if you would delete your comment. If you will look at the Miriam Webster online dictionary you will see that one example given for the word hanged OR hung is suspend from the neck until dead.

Hi Tim,
Connery Nichols is my son-in-law, and I would be happy to take over management of father's memorial on Find-A-Grave.
I am trying to help Connery with his family research, and am managing our family history on Find-A-Grave & on Ancestry.com.
Thanks so much,
Lisa

RE: David Nichols
Tim,
I am not in Amarillo I actually live in Virginia Beach right now. I am out of town because I am in the military, but when I get back I would like to give you a call and find out some more information from you. I was also wondering if you know anything about what my dad did in the Army while he was in? You can reach me at my email conneryn@gmail.com . Thanks

Hey I was wondering if you know anything about my dads time in the military? I was never told anything and I was just curious of what he did.

Charles Rodden
Tim,

Thanks for the reply. I had already forgotten that I left you a message. Charles and my mother, Wilma Odell Rodden, were brother and sister. Do you have any information on the Rodden family that you could share, or do you have a Rodden contact?

Tim,

I noticed that you had left a message on this memorial, 38499595. Thanks. My grandfather was a Rodden. Are you related?

I transferred her to the person you suggested - I've done the same thing so don't fret on it!
