Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been seriously involved with genealogy for 30+ years. I've been an active participant in and contributor to the Alford American Family Association since its founding in 1987. I have been working on an update and revision of The Descendants of James Cole of Plymouth for even longer.

I give permission to anyone to use, for any non-profit purpose, any gravestone photograph I post.

I found the lot where he would be. There is a double stone there but Vanda is the only one with a marker his side is empty. Didnt know if u wanted me to still upload a photo. I went ahead and claimed him tho. Let me know what you want me to do.

You are most welcome to use the picture. Thanks for adding the obituaries, as I know very little about them.

RE: Anna Alford, Mount Calvary
You're welcomed, Pamela. Anna was actually easier than most "unknowns" to at least determine her area because of the old "Calvary" burial stated on her death record...and then having a few marked 1922 graves nearby (looking for Anna has prompted me to try to find more of the unmarked/unrecorded near her and make sure they at least have memorials). If she hadn't been in "Calvary" (her current section designation is now SE-Calvary), I would've more automatically thought she was in the Santa Barbara area, which was more commonly used at the time, and has suffered much damage due to flooding and vandalism.

Nola Mildred MARSH
Thanks for the transfers, Pamela.
It was your photo on Nola that alerted me (and another 5 siblings) that her sisters had placed the plaque. We are now working on something similar for her Dad at Pyes Pa.
Regards, Robyn
