I have most definitely been bitten by the "genealogy bug." I am currently focusing my family history research on the Redden family. I can no longer drive by a cemetery (especially an old one) without wondering about the people at rest there. On a recent research trip to southern Indiana, we located the grave of my husband's great-great-grandmother. It sits in a lonely cemetery on private property at the edge of a farm field. Even though many of the stones are toppled over, the property owner has been respectful enough to preserve the property which is fenced in and has a gravel drive to it. We were so touched to find her grave, headstone still beautiful and legible. On our last visit, we found that the cemetery is undergoing a restoration by a group of volunteers. This experience underscored to us the importance and value of preserving the old, family and private cemeteries for future generations. |
My husband and I find it very rewarding and meaningful to be photo volunteers and do our best to take care with your memorial photos. Pictured is our dog Toby, who enjoys accompanying us on many of our cemetery hunts.

No, I will leave those on there. Thank you for looking for them. Did you by any chance notice any other Flynns in the area? Thank you again.
