Bio and Links
Bio Photo Writing and genealogy research is one of our activities. Linda has in the past, restored old photos and design photo displayes for framing. Genealogy research was a pursuit since 1978 but has occupied much of my time as of 2000; but my first entries were written before 1963 in my Bible. I am very familiar with Benton and Washington Co, Ark. and some of the cemeteries in our area. We enjoy finding old graves stones of family and recording them for family and friends.
NOTE: REGARDING OBITUARIES AND PHOTOS POSTED. PERMISSION HAS BEEN RECEIVED FOR THOSE SENT TO ME BY INDIVIDUALS, FUNERAL HOMES, FAMILY MEMBERS AND NEWSPAPERS OUTSIDE OUR AREA. THOSE FOUND ON THE INTERNET AND FROM LOCAL PUBLIC LIBRARY NEWSPAPER MICROFILM FILES ARE FOR PUBLIC USE. MANY OF THE SAME OBITUARIES MAY BE FOUND AT ANCESTRY.COM, NEWSPAPER ARCHIVES FOR EACH STATE AND OTHER SOURCES SUCH AS NEWSPAPERARCHIVE.COM. WE DO NOT POST CURRENT OBITUARIES UNLESS IT IS OUR OWN RELATED FAMILY MEMBER. IN ADDITION, WE HAVE PAID FOR THE USE OF A FEW.
Our Elm Springs Cemetery project may be found on Ancestry.com under the tree name "Elm Springs Civil War Vets and Families". Some families have been extended because little was found at Ancestry. This is an on-going project given that there are about 50 plus vets buried in the Cemetery. We do this as an act of kindness and to document missing history for those families.

My email is EJPenny72@yahoo.com I can send you a link of my tree. I have pictures of some of the fuller and martin boys when they were younger. I believe its three of the Fuller boys, my grandpa Elbert Martin and Albert Martin. Would like to see picture of Lydia it might help with some of the old pictures my grandfather had that didn't have names on it. I have a few of Anna on my ancestry also that I found online and in grandpa's pictures. I also have pictures of a bible Anna gave to my grandfather, wished she had everyone's name in it but she only put the Martin's in it for him and I don't think he updated it after his son Gayle died.

Thomas Washington Gibson
Hi Dennis,
The reason I declined the update is it listed the death place as 'Unknown". Had I accepted the update, the death location would have been erased. I manually entered the information you gave for Thomas.

Albert Anglin
I have received your correction email concerning Albert Anglin. My concern is that the grave marker gives a death year of 1934. That would put him at 34 at his death if the birth year of 1900 is correct as engraved on the marker. You state that he died in 1935 which would make him 35 at his death if the 1900 birth year is correct. The article that you posted actually lists his age at death at 36. Were there possibly multiple Albert Anglins? If you are correct about the death year, the article is correct about the age at death, and there are not two separate Alberts then the marker is incorrectly engraved with the birth and death years and that just seems incredibly unlikely.

RE: Roberta Smith
She did have a son that lived in Kansas City, Mo. I had no idea he had passed away. I only met him a time or two. Her kids were grown when we were neighbors. She lived alone.

RE: Roberta Smith - 2001
Thank you so much for finding Roberta's gravesite and posting the pictures. I have missed her so much. She was a very nice lady and I enjoyed her being my neighbor. Again thank you, Kim

RE: Re: Roberta Smith
She passed away in Wynne Ar in 2001. I have her obituary from the newspaper and it says she is buried in Elm Springs Cemetery. If you can find it I would love to see her gravesite. If it's too much to ask it's ok I will travel that way sometime. Thank you, Kim

RE: Re: Roberta Smith
I'm not related to Roberta Smith, she was my neighbor for many years. She moved and about a month or so later she passed away suddenly. I wanted a picture of her gravesite and hope to visit some day. I just thought maybe if someone in the area was visiting the cemetery and wouldn't mind taking a picture for me. Thank you :)
