My motto: No skeleton too bony and no closet too deep.|
Please do not add scanned obit notices, death certificates or census reports to memorials I have created. Thanks.
If you have any interest in being a caretaker for any memorials I have made, just let me know and I will transfer them over. I would rather manage the memorials I've made for my own relatives but that is just a preference, it's not written in stone. Again, just ask. Cheers.

I just noticed you and another Find A Grave person have this cemetery listed. Same name, address, etc., with different burials listed. Maybe you can look up the church and "talk" with the other person and combine them. I finished the cemetery and don't want to have to choose between the two cemeteries! Thanks so much for all of your hard work, it's certainly appreciated......

buried in St. Mary's cemetery in Panola. Is there any change the couples are the same
James and Bridget Keefee and/or Keefe?

|John Hearn||Jordan cemetery not yet documented|
I have been wanting to tell you about a small Jordan family cemetery that has never been entered into Find A Grave. It is one mile west of Capital Blvd (US 1) off of Purnell Rd (west of Wake Forest). It is in woods on the north side of Purnell Road. My Jordan friend can take someone there. I hope you or someone can go document it. If so, contact me at the email in my profile. Thanks, John Hearn
|pjstamps||reading the tombstone|
Try to take white chalk to the tombstones that are hard to read. It works like magic!!
My mother and I have been working the Gulley line for 55 years and we found that by doing this we were able to get a lot of family names and dates.
Please understand I am not trying to tell you how to do your work. I have great respect for all you do, and many thanks to all your efforts.
Thanks for all you do - Pat Stamps

I removed the image, but I would suggest including the citation. The obituary was published in The Colman Argus, Colman, SD, October 26, 1911. I've been working for 6 months in our local library, which has old copies of the newspapers, so I've been posting obituaries to make them available to any interested relatives.
Best regards, Brenda
