We are a retired Navy couple, so please let us know if there is a military headstone you need that is in our area, will make sure you get it...|
We are working on getting the GPS locations and pictures of the Prince William County area cemeteries. if you need anything, just let us know.
NOTICE: If you want to use any of my photos that we have posted on Find A Grave, you are welcome to do so as long as it is for genealogical research and is neither immoral or illegal. We keep the original, higher resolution pictures for all pictures we take in our county and are very willing to share them upon request.
Transfer Requests... It seems many folks don't have any manners when it comes to requesting a transfer... The people who send rude/demanding correction requests also need to learn some manners if they want the changes made. Yes, mistakes/typos can happen. Acting like it is your right to be rude and demand changes about it is uncalled for.
Remember: Genealogy without documentation is mythology!

Can you tell us anything about her? Who is she buried close to? Would appreciate any help. My husband does the Damewood genealogy and does not have anything on her.

You're very welcome.
|Margaret||Julia Clarke Selecman|
Thank you both for all of your photos for my Virginia family.
I have submitted another edit for Julia Selecman as I goofed and gave you her number instead of her husband's. It appears that she is linked twice to herself instead of James A. Selecman.
My sincere apologies for my error.
You help is appeciated.

Thank you! Do you know how exciting it was to get a phone call from my parents that they are standing in Tull cemetery and I'm on the other side of the state! I wanted to be there so bad. I wasn't at home either and I couldn't tell them what pictures to get! Thank you so much. I appreciate all you do for Find A Grave!

Thanks for the advice. I never heard about baby powder. I'll have to try it.

Thank you for finding the marriage record for Eliza and Isaac. I did not locate that record.
Also, thank you for the transfers.

|Joyce Young||Job/Jobe Ancestry|
Hello Marie and Dale,
I noticed your post from 2008 which stated "I am down from Samuel Job's daughter, Mary who married into the Gordon line." If you are down from Mary Jane, then we are related.
Mary Jane Jobe Bradbury Doughty was my great grandmother. My family is trying to determine when the name was changed from Job, to Jobe. I (we) would love to hear from you and to learn how we are related to you. I know that Mary Jane had three brothers: Samuel Jefferson Jobe; John Hamilton Jobe; and James Morrison Jobe.
Any information that you would be willing to share would be appreciated.
Thank You, Joyce
