I currently live near Tacoma, Washington having moved here from Sacramento, California and have been intrigued with my own genealogy for several years.
I am retired from the U. S. Air Force and now retired from the State of California and drawing my Social Security. Now my hobbies are fishing and genealogy researching.
I have located some very famous people in my mother's lineage (Aaron Burr, General John Bidwell and some others) and this makes looking at history a bit different. On my mother's side I have lineage going back 32 generations in Wales. Still much more investigating to do.
I enjoy looking for the smaller and older cemeteries to photograph and enter information into Find A Grave. Many in my new area are over 150 years old.
When I do locate a cemetery I attempt to photograph ALL the markers - not just those that might be requested. When I find a photo of a marker that has no information, I enter the information. If you find a memorial I have created and there is no photo then it is possible that I have not yet added the photo as all the memorials I create are created from a photo. I recently photographed the 8,000 internments of the Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Enumclaw, WA. As always, genealogy is a work in progress.

Ruby Ruth Burdick Talbott Dodds Hi, thank you for the great job you have done for the grave of my grandmother Ruby Dodds. I would love to add to it and actually take it over if possible. I have information fro her 2nd husband Graham M Dodds who is buried without a stone next to her. I am working on getting a stone for him too. Somehow it was just forgotten. I remember that sad day (1977) at the cemetery burying him, he had been sick so long and died at our home from cancer 11 years after Ruby. Love that you found the marriage cert. for she and Charles Talbott. They had two children before they split up. (Eva Louise and Raymond) Charles died in 1927, the cause?? Have not found that out for sure though. With Graham she had 4 more children Robert, David, Virginia (my mother), and Dale. Thank you for your time, Kim H
Olaf and Minnie Erickson If you are not related to Olaf or Minnie, could you please transfer them to me. They are my husbands Uncle and Aunt and I would like to link them both to their parents. If you are related, maybe we can connect and find out how.
Thank you very much for entering them in Evergreen Mem. Cem. Their #'s are
RE: FLORA SHAFFNER If you will kindly use the transfer format utilized by Find A Grave I will gladly do it. Having to look up all sorts of information is time consuming and the transfer program already in place is great. Please use it.
The transfer format only shows on the screen of the person managing the memorial. Only you see it, I do not see it from my end. I have had other memorials transferred to me this week and no one has referred me to a "transfer format." Thank you in advance for transferring my great grandmothers memorial to me.
RE: FLORA SHAFFNER If you could give me click by click instructions on how to locate and fill the transfer requirements I will be happy to send to you the proper filled out form. Low Tech Judy Calhoun Bresch (#47937011) :-)
FLORA SHAFFNER #62995784 is my great grandmother and it would mean a lot to me and be a privilege to be able to manage her memorial. I can correct and add information that would be helpful to others. We go as a family every Memorial Day to put flowers on her grave. She was a wonderful lady who loved children and was always helping others. If you can transfer the management of her memorial to me and would like to use my personal email, it is: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you so much for the great service that you do. It is so needed and appreciated.
