IOWA FAMILY COLLECTION|
Greetings! And thank you for opening my page. I hope you are enjoying the Find A Grave website and easily navigating the memorials.
There is nothing I enjoy more than sharing information with those wishing to compare notes or learn more. If you have new information or corrections for any memorials I happen to manage, please let me know by using the memorial EDIT tab or by sending me an email message. As usual, we will all appreciate your help.
If you need assistance searching this site just let me know the details. I also encourage you to leave an appropriate remembrance to any memorial with which you have a personal connection.
My fascination with cemeteries, coupled with my immersion into family history brought me to this website. It did not take long before I found myself a contributor to this very well administered place on the internet.
Naturally, the duty of memorializing ancestors gives descendants the ability to personally get involved in the world of genealogy, and best of all, grow closer to other family members.
I hope you enjoy this wonderful website. Mickey Hayes

|The Locator||Cemetery Photos|
You have two beautiful photos of the St Patrick's & St Paul's Cemetery at Wtatkins, IA. When I made a memorial in that Cemetery the cemetery photos did not show on the memorial. I checked out several other memorials and none of them had the cemetery photos. Do you know why? Just thought I would let you know and maybe you can fix it so they will show on all the memorials.
Me, yes, I, the great one have my NFL Weekend Predictions!
First, Chiefs over the Ravens by the score of 42-6. I base this on the observation that teams that play in the color "RED" do better than those in "BLACK".
49ers over SeaBirds in slugfest. Score 21-17. 49ers better coached and they paid-off the officials according to my Vegas Bookie.
Patriots 39 and Bronco horses 31. Bellichek too smart and is best coach in Universe is Patriots ADVANTAGE.
Tom Brady is bragging he is gonna kick some a___ in Denver Mile High. He is married to a smoking hot wife, so he must be doing something right on and off the field. Only thing I know about Peyton Manning is that he drives a Buick.

To my fellow Kazoo fellow I wish Happy New Year! I updated my bio today. It shows to go ya what strange things happen at the cemeteries when the sun goes down.
|Rosebud Duff||Little Wilma Jean Lewis|
I made updates to Little Wilma Jean Lewis page. Thank you for the info. What a little sweetie! Not sure if you know but she was highlighted as a reenactment of her short life during one of the City of Long Beaches yearly events.
Another for ya

Happy kazoo old timer! Have the Mrs. join us in our marching band. She can carry the Find A Grave flag and rifle for the 1 gun salute to fallen Find A Grave volunteers. Maybe we can dedicate and establish a "Tomb to the Unknown Find A Grave Volunteers."
I added to my bio as I had a really weird experience at the cemetery to share. Let me know if you have had a similar experience. :-)
|Larry1963||RE: Saint Francis Cemetery|
Thanks for the kind comments about being an extraordinary volunteer for Find A Grave. Now, none of my hats fit this swollen head!
Please note that I have added a plea on my bio page. I hope you will consider joining my Kazoo Marching Band of Find A Grave volunteers.
Maybe during next year's Memorial Day we could perform at the Saint Francis Cemetery!
Remember, we Geezers need to stick together as we are a mighty force. :-)
Geezer's United should become a political action group. Could be dedicated to promote and maintain the cemeteries in America.
First, we could ask for all cemeteries to have a first class porta-potty, a drinking fountain, equipment shed to house Find A Grave tools of the trade such as small whisk broom, knife, stone polish, grass seed, and first aid kit. :-)
Old guys like us are a powerful force. Oh, by the way, the tax payers could foot the bill for the above expenses! :-(
Thank you very much couldn't have done it without you.. :)
