Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been involved in geneology for a little over 25 years. Both of my grandmothers kept everything they could and I was lucky to receive all the books, images, and heirlooms from my mother and father's sides of the family.

I am the County Keeper for Sampson Co. NC, so if you have any questions or need any information on a cemetery in Sampson Co, (Clinton, Roseboro, Garland, Newton Grove, Turkey etc.) please let me know.

Advice.....If you are photographing a headstone for someone or for yourself, take a look at the cemetery homepage first and see if there is a picture for the cemetery and if it has been mapped yet. If not, go ahead and snap a picture and get an exact location of the cemetery so that it can be added if its not already there. You and your entire family may know where the John Doe Cemetery is in Smith County, but no one else will.

**Any pictures I have on here or ancestry.com may be used by anyone.

Faison Family Cemetery

Hi there Lee :::waving:::
The African American Faison Cemetery that you found which is adjacent to the chained linked fence one I'm "reasonably sure" is the Ed Faison Cemetery. It contains more then just burials of the Faison's. The land is originally owned by Ed Faison, and many other black families are buried there as well. I would venture that many of the graves are Unmarked today or at this point because they died back in the 1920's-1940's. I even have ancestor's who are "supposed" to be buried there, per their Death Records. :-)

Coleman
Hello Lee,
I have been researching Daniel B Coleman for a the last month, and I just found your page here on Findagrave. I actually have done a lot of genetic work on the Colemans. I am extremely excited to hear from you. I believe I can tie our 2 Coleman lines with others through DNA. I can explain, please email me directly at Robinson.L.Clint@gmail.com

RE: John Gilmore Bullard
Thanks for clearing up the question. I'll see if I can figure out the family connections.

John Gilmore Bullard
Your memorial for this man appears to be a duplicate of another man with the same name and dates in Elisha Peterson Cemetery in Bladen County. The other man has a photo of his gravestone. Can you possibly tell me which is correct? Thanks.

Thank you for giving permission to use the photos you have on Findagrave and Ancestry.
