I am retired and when not busy with|
family and church matters I spend
my time on family history and genealogy.
I try to visit old graveyards before
others who tend to focus only on their own
family or short change the survey
due to the effort required.
This has been a favorite pastime
since 2001, before Findagrave or ancestry.com
I am closely related to but a few
folks I add listings and photos for.
Obviously I don't know your family history so if you want it added send it in or request a transfer.
I have and support hundreds of thousands of listings and photos on my site and here.
I welcome anyone needing help on this or any other site I support including these two:
Southern Middle Tennessee:
North Middle Alabama:
My emphasis is cemetery location, or getting the grave listing into the correct cemetery. Please don't guess at it. I see so many errors on this site regarding that. If you are having problems with location feel free to ask me; I know about where every graveyard is located; and the proper cemetery name in northern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee. In other words I have cemetery books on the following counties and use these as my references:
Maury Co. Tennessee - Giles Co. Tennessee -Lincoln County Tennessee - Marshall Co. Tennessee - Bedford Co. Tennessee - Lawrence Co. Tennessee
Madison Co. Alabama Vol 1 & 11 - Limestone Co. Alabama - Bits and peices on Lawrence Co. Al Colbert Co. Alabama and Lauderdale County Al.

Oh my golly, I was just looking at my Findagrave photo requests on Monday and was resigned that it would never be fulfilled...two days later...I get an email that you fulfilled the request. The photo you took is AWESOME...I can't believe it is still legible. I can't thank you enough!
Thank you so much.
P.S. Sorry for the earlier empty email...my fingers were too quick.
Much appreciation and gratitude.

Thank you for getting picture of headstone of my great uncle, JW Foster, Find A Grave # 36014015. Thank you. Many of the Fosters came on to Texas, although this man did not. He was the brother of my great grand mother, America Foster Donaldson, who did come to Texas. JW visited her in Texas as a young man.
RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 113317981. As further documentation for his year of birth, on the 1850 census, he was listed as 49 years of age, born about 1801, giving additional justification for his year of birth of 1800. Also, in 1840 he is in the 30-39 age year range. With that and his obituary, I think it's safe to list 1800 as his year of birth. People who provide information for tombstones can be wrong on their information. And you said yourself, the tombstone is hard to read. I've also requested a link to his with Martha Buchanan Smith. We're not talking about 2 different Albert Smiths.
