I am a retired Southern Bell employee. My husband, Tom, is retired from CSX. Wilmington, NC is our home town. |
My husband and I are researching the Grant/Rhodes family from Onslow and New Hanover County, NC. Hammonds/Suggs from Bladen County and New Hanover County, NC. Holliday/Tinsley from Pickens, Liberty and Greenville, SC area. The Holliday side is not Doc. Holliday the terror of the west.
Find A Grave has been a big help in growing our ancestry.com trees.
We will be glad to help with all the pictures that we can in the Wilmington, NC area.
Anyone is welcome to use pictures taken by us. No need to ask and no credit needed to be made for the picture. Also, we will be glad to relaese any memorial to a family member to be maintained.

A SAC would of been an easier way of pointing it out.

Connected Rebecca with parents as requested. Made connections for her husband John Lloyd Nethercutt with his parents as well.
Just so that you will know. Ms. Lasko was visiting Carteret County and happened by Tuttles Grove Church and read the sign nearby about the old Meeting House which was many years ago at this location. She said she thought it would be neat to enter these names into that Data Base. When I began the work for the Methodist there was no records in the Methodist Church. As many of the people buried there were my relatives I entered them and later found out she had already entered some of them improperly. I notified her and that she had made a mistake. How she moved them from the other location to the proper location I have no idea. I know this looks as if I was just entering names without checking but that is not true. This has happened several times at different Cemeteries and in fact some were given different names (cemeteries). As this is a church where I attended several funerals of relatives I hate to start deleting names.

Hi, The Carneys have no markers, I did take a picture of the plot #23, which I can put on Find A Grave if you would like, but even the office does not have any records of what space they are in, only that they are buried in Plot 23.
