Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.

Please consider using the "virtual cemetery" feature on this site to keep track of relations.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Please have your messages enabled if you want to correspond with me. I will not use my personal e-mail on this site.

I saw the star and wondered, thanks for the explanation of no gravestone.

RE: Minnie Morris
I would very much appreciate it.
To be honest, I sent this to you instead of through photo request without thinking. However, if you would be willing to do it, I would be grateful.
Thank you again!

RE: Thomas Winn
I will check the photo reservation next time. I created the memorials for the people in my family that didn't have memorials, but was surprised to find Thomas and Mary already had memorials. Since there was no picture, I cheerfully added. I have learned from you to do one more check. I do appreciate the work you are doing. This is a huge cemetery and I have several relatives there. Thanks.

I like the second picture you took of the row of graves. Perhaps you would add that picture to Herman #135674323, Ione #135674380, Howard #135428488, and Mary #135428209. They are there in that row. I didn't think to make that kind of photo.

RE: Marguerite Corwin
I have been researching my grandmother's sisters and their families. Mrs. H. R. Corwin (Elizabeth Jones)
I had gotten a copy of an article in the "Los Angeles Examiner)which was marked 1949 where the five sisters had a reunion after 45 years of being apart. Mrs. H.R. Corwin lived at 1937 West 82nd St. The notation under the pictures says Mrs Corwin lives in Los Angeles.
So I am researching everything I can find to try to get closer to knowing if I have the right Corwins.
I am still a novice with Ancestry.com and other research so trying to get better educated on my techniques. I appreciate your help very much. Jack

RE: Inglewood Park Cemetery Photos
I am making photo requests for ShaneO. He has a list of virtual cemeteries and I make requests from that list. There are apparently many requests for the Inglewood Park Cemetery as I am still requesting in the Bs. I photographed many of the mass graves at Jefferson Barracks by working directly from that list. I can continue to make requests for Inglewood Park Cemetery or you can work directly from his list, whichever you prefer.

Bonnie,

Thanks for the photo & edit (72147149).

I had fun with this one because Miriam "Mimi" is the name of one of my granddaughters.

Take care,
Susan
