No problem....just looking for connections to pass to my own children. Did we know how we are related?
|Andria ||RE: Nancy Rosanna Lewis|
Much of Nancy's connection to the Mitchells was by her marriage to Orlando Aultman Mitchell.This can be found in the Picayune Memorial Library, Picayune, Pearl River County, Mississippi in their genealogy department. I have done extensive research myself, but there are many researchers with this particular Mitchell genealogy. Take a look at my tree on ancestry.com if you like. I have two trees on ancestry.com being MyFamily and MyFamilyLine. MyFamily has more information on the Mitchells as far as family tree connections, etc. Hope this helps. If there is something specific that I can help you with let me know. Have a blessed day.

You did an awesome job on this cemetery...I always put a memorial on those I open, so now all those you did has one...just looks so bare....like no flowers on a grave....they look better.....keep up the good work...oh, by the way...don't suppose you have found a grave for Robert and Lydia Mitchell? last known of in Smith or Jones County...just thought I'd ask....Bless you...be careful out there...

Hi, Samantha - I have another possible burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, Hattiesburg. It is Favre Hemphill born and died in 1905, I think.
I remember there was a funeral home locally that had several records for us. Is there a way you could find out something on Favre? That was when Hattiesburg was in Perry County, I believe.
PS How have you been?

|Zoe Tom||Margaret Edmondson|
Samantha - You helped me previously. I am looking for the burial of my great grandmother, Margaret Anne (Gough) Edmondson. I wonder if you could check those old local funeral home records to see if she could possibly be buried at Oaklawn Cemetery. She was living in Hattiesburg in 1900 and was listed as a widow then. She was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Robert Herman Hemphill and Margaret Anne (Edmondson) Hemphill. This daughter is buried at Oaklawn, but Margaret Edmondson may be buried some where in Lauderdale County. I think that is where he husband probably died.
I just made a picture request, but I have no idea whether Margaret Edmondson is buried here or not, OR the exact date of her death.
Maybe you have an E-Mail address or mailing address for the main library in Jackson, where all the records are kept.
Thanks in advance for your assistance,

|Barbara Munson||Theodore Hill at Magnolia Cemetery|
Three of us went to Magnolia and searched the entire cemetery. We could not find a marker for Theodore, but I found several other Hills.
Isabel Hill Montan
Katherine McPhail Hill
John Hill, Jr.
Margaret Hill Carruth & husband Dr. Frank Carruth
John Hill, son of George Hill & Carrie Lee Taylor
Elizabeth Jones Hill
Carrie Lee Taylor Hill
There is also a large Hill monument without any other names on it.
Please let me know if you'd like photos of any of these markers emailed to you.

Thank you so much it would be a miracle if you found him. I have worked so hard on this one person that I have not researched anyone else in over a year.
