I have been working on my family tree off and on since I was 12 years old (so over 42 years). I feel it is often like a treasure hunt. I enjoy researching for others and enjoy seeing how much information I am able to gather for them.|
My love for genealogy came from my father, Rev. Geo. K. Swartzfager. He was a minister and was able to learn and remember family members of most of his parishioners. I seem to have this same ability often to the annoyance of my own family. They often seem to feel this is a curse but I feel it is a blessing that I have gladly inherited.
As I said, I am willing to do research for others. I have several books to assist in this research: Cemeteries of Crawford County, Ohio, Volumes 1, 2A and 3; Marriages of Crawford County, Ohio 1831-1997; History of Crawford County, Ohio; Index of Applications of The Pioneer Families of Crawford County, Ohio; and Families of Crawford County, Ohio 1977-1978.
Please do not make duplicates of people I have added to Find A Grave. I am willing to make transfers whenever the person is not related to my family. I will try to respond/transfer as soon as possible. I enjoy working on Find A Grave and visit cemeteries to take pictures as often as possible. While in a cemetery in Pennsylvania, I met a cousin (living of course). You never know what you may find. A friend says she can't go by a cemetery without thinking of me. My daughter just thinks its creepy. Hopefully someday my children will inherit some of my genealogy insanity.

|Donna White||re: Betty Lou Durbin|
Hi Kathy, thank you so much for searching for and taking grave pics to add to Betty Durbin's memorial. I appreciate it. She was a nice neighbor of mine. She was working as a waitress at Bob Evans and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home. donna

Thanks for adding the obit to the bio...just posted it since "Dead Stock" sounded made up...so you would know it was real...and others would...but sometimes they delete obit pictures, so the bio is more stable area for that info. ...
It is also more legible in the bio typed out..

Thank you for providing grave site photo and up dating Kenneth Vanderkarr's memorial page.
|Christa Laipply Hartman||Management?|
I was wondering if I could take over the management of my Grandpa and Grandma on find a grave? My Grandpa was Virgil Wayne Laipply and my Grandma was Pauline V. Upham Laipply (both from Bucyrus, OH). They were basically my parents as my mom, Karen Laipply, was struggling single mom. I loved my Grandparents very much, and I would love to manage their pages.
Thank you for your consideration. :)
Thank you for the info.

|Larry Newman||Salem Cemetery|
The info about Salem Cemetery on old U.S. 30 is incorrect. It is in Eden Township, not Mifflin.
I do not see a place where I can correct this error. Some of my relatives are buried there.

Thank you very much for editing his memorial. I appreciate your quick response.

Kathy - Thank you for the obit. I took care of it.
Thank you, Kathy for the endless & thankless hours you contribute to FindAGrave. What a loving tribute to your father and future generations.
