Gus is not married to Elizabeth Hollmeyer, that was his mother.
Gus is my great uncle and he never married. He died serve in WWI for the Germans.

Hi, it is possible that he is buried according to the article. The tombstone in Denver says "In memory of" which could mean they are not buried there but memorialized there. You would have to contact the cemeteries. I'm not related and have chased this as far as I want to take it. I did some research and changed a few things. Details are a bit sketchy without further digging and hours of research.

I have notice that there is a Tombstone for George Hollis in North Grove cemetery and one also in Hawleville cemetery. The one in Hawleville cemetery I know It's there because I took the picture of it. His wife Tabilah tombstone is there also. What confusing is Tabilah obituary states she was buried in North Grove church yard. Which presume the church is no longer there.
So how can there there be two markers in two different cemetery?. I really don't know what takes to solve this problem. This spring planning to revisit Hawleville cemetery and North Grove cemetery. Walt. Hatfield
