Bio and Links
Bio Photo Long interested in cemeteries & ghost stories, this sight I really love! I love the fact that I can have "forever" obituaries for my loved ones and friends and that I can also assist those who are interested in tracing their family trees! I have a particular interest in Native American genealogy and cemeteries.

WITH THE ADDITION OF THE EDIT BUTTON PLEASE SEND ME UPDATES OR CORRECTIONS VIA THE EDIT SYSTEM. IF YOU LEAVE ME A MESSAGE HERE CONCERNING A PARTICULAR MEMORIAL PLEASE INCLUDE THE MEMORIAL NUMBER. THANK YOU.

IF YOUR EDIT INFORMATION DIFFERS FROM WHAT I HAVE ON RECORD OR THE HEADSTONE (I USE DEATH CERT RECORDS AS THE PRIORITY FOR DATES) PLEASE SEND ME PROOF OF THE SOURCE MATERIAL OR IT WILL NOT BE CHANGED.

Earl McMillen III
McMillan/McMillen
Hello:
I have been doing some research on my McMillen line. My 5th great-grandfather James McMillen (1758-1821) was born in Washington County, PA. All research points to his parents being William McMillen & Margaret Rae. This would have made him a brother of Rev John McMillan. If this is true, clearly this is where the spelling would have changed from (an) to (en). I show the siblings being John (1752), Margaret (1754), William (1755) & James (1758). Are you familiar with a James McMillen in your family and have any of your male McMillan family members participated in the Clan MacMillan's DNA project? I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
E. McMillen

Perrin Plaque
Awesome! Thanks so much. It really is a beautiful plaque. I lived in NYC for 8 years and my friend lives a block from the church. I wish I had known about it then. :/

Harriet Black
We searched the entire Elmdale Section, but could not locate a headstone for Harriet. I've posted her Death Certificate at her Memorial Page.

Daniel Perrin Sr.
Blue Rose Of Cairo,

The Memorial you Created about Daniel Perrin, whom I am also related, states he is buried in Stonybrook Cemetery located in Richmond County(Staten Island, NY).I recently visited Staten Island hoping to visit his grave. I went to the County Clerks Office to find out where the cemetery is located and they could not find a listing for a Stonybrook Cemetery on Staten Island, NY. Do you know if the name could have changed or do you have the location for Stonybrook Cemetery on Staten Island, NY?

Dod biographies
Thank you so much for the interesting bios you have written for the Dod/Dodd family. Thaddeus Dodd is my 6th great uncle, so we are definitely related. My only regret is that I did not find your biographies in time to send them to my uncle, who was also a Minister, before he died. He always enjoyed reading the stories I was able to find about our family, but these would have been extremely special to him. I will send them to his daughters and hope that they can enjoy them in his place. Again, thank you so much!

Judah Worden
I am connected via Moon and Perrine lines, my dad Moon and my mother from the Perrine's. I can tell you for sure that the Judah Worden who is the child of Mary Mercy Moon was a male. This Judah Worden is not the one who married Henry Perrine. She died in 1775 in Pendleton, VA. If this Judah Worden were actually a female and the one who married Henry Perrine it would have made my parents 7th cousins so I was very careful to research. The Judah you have here was a male and a soldier. He fought in the Vermont Militia.
