Please feel free to use any of my memorial stone photos. I seldom post private photos but when I do, please ask first before using them.
#1. I regret that I will no longer just hand over the work I have done.
Naturally, I will transfer within guidelines and will transfer outside guidelines in case by case situations. Tell me WHY you want my hard work given to you. And I am perfectly capable of making "extensive" additions or changes.
FROM FIND A GRAVE:
Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.

|Ron Stewart||Thanks again|
Once again, thank you very much for the transfer of members of my Marshall family. You have been very helpful and responsive as I work to put this family together on Find A Grave.
I appreciate your help.
|Ron Stewart||Thanks for your work|
Thank you very much for all the work you have done to document the Marshall family buried in Crown Hill Cemetery. I think I am related to every one of them.
I havee sent a lot of updates. Hope you don't mind all the additional information. I would like to get them all linked together.
I appreciate what you do on Find A Grave.
I am cousin to the Swansons of Manistique Michigan not all just the ones that descend from Henry "Hank" Swanson and his lovely wife [my 1st cousin once removed] Lucy Gould Swanson. As well some of the other Swansons have crossed into lines that other parts of the family cross into- The joys of rural America Karen Gould Norman

Thank you for adding to findagrave.
Obituaries are public information. They are not copywrited. They are owned by the family since the family pays to have them put in the newspaper. I checked with a paralegal on this.
There should not be any issues involved with putting an obituary on findagrave. If it wasn't for obituaries, I wouldn't be doing findagrave. I am adding the obituaries to help genealogy researchers.

Just recently found out about the shaving cream controversy. I have been researching different methods to read these unreadable stones. As someone who has posted over 13,000 memorials on this site, I was wondering how you were able to read them. Looking foward to your help.
