I am interested in genealogy research on the following surnames: Durst, Goss, Wamsley, Search, Harkness, Rumberger, Blake, Bickerdyke and others. I revise memorials now and then as new information comes to light.|
Many, but not all memorials are family. I would be glad to transfer or collaborate if you are more closely related. Please request permission before using my photographs. I am happy to share but request photo credit on shared photos. I like to post family photos, most of which I have inherited, but sometimes I have forgotten where some of these marvelous old photos came from, so now I am trying to give credit where credit is due.
A big Thank You to all those Find A Grave contributors that have recorded the graves of our ancestors and added the information that they have or have found.

|Storres Myers||RE: Elizabeth Moser Durst|
You are welcome. You can see why the Genealogical Society lists her as Moser.--Storres
|Jerry Fair||Daniel Rader|
I will make the transfer if you promise to return the memorial to me if your husband is not related.
|Warren Eastright||Margaret Isenhower|
Hi Della, Margaret pased away on my 69th birthday. So I hope you'll add other pictures.
I haven't heard from you in a while, did you want Ananias Durst's wifes memorial also? I would be happy to transfer her. I don't know much about them.I do however go to the Durst/Pauley family reunion every year. My grandmother has lots of paperwork on both families. My grandmothers step-father was Stanley Durst 119757961, her mother was Gladys (Shafer) Durst 119758119. Stanley and Gladys are both in Delaware cemetery, Fredonia, Mercer county PA if you are interested.
|Luella Hinrichsen||William Henry Clark|
Della, I have added the links & transferred him and his wife to your care hoping you will add to their memorials. It would be nice to have the family all linked together! Luella
|Kathy (Hoy) Eltiste||Elizabeth Clark|
Am so glad you were able to find Elizabeth. Know she is in good hands now. Was her maiden name "Wood or Woods"?
|Andii1814||David Rider in Civil War|
Mistake in previous message.
It was David Rider son of John & Lydia who was in the Civil War.
|Andii1814||Rev. John Rider 84325640|
I've added some info to the the memorial for Rev. John Rider in Old Union Buffalo Mills Bedford Co. PA. Rev. John Rider died in 1849.
You may have this.
It appears he had a son John Rider who married Lydia Wertz dt. of Christian Werts who is also at Old Union.
In the 1850 Census of Harrison Twp. Bedford Co. the widow of Rev. John Rider, Nancy, is living with her son John Rider. From the Internet there is mention of a land record settling the estate of Christian Wertz dated 16 March 1854 saying that John Rider & wife Lydia are living in Iowa.
It appears that John [E.] Rider with wife Lydia fought in the Civil War from Iowa & his monument has been restored there.
I'm not sure abt. the Lebanon Co. PA connection-we follow the names only in this area in an attempt to transcribe the cem so the info on the Rider family is limited.
There appear to be United Brethren connections in Iowa which would fit.
There are 2 Rider children that died in 1842.
Daniel of John & Nancy & Wm. of John & Lydia.

You have done a wonderful job of collecting information on various families. May I have your permission to reuse some of the photos and obituaries to post on the Ancestry.com website. I too am researching the Rumbarger/Rumberger families.
Sincerely, Kim Rumbarger Talboo
I am related to the Durst family, through my fathers mother. I did the transfer for you this morning. I am happy to share. I just remember my grandmother telling me we had relatives in that cemetery, so I had to find them. :)
