I started out taking photos of the graves of family and distant relatives but have migrated into working on some cemeteries in northeastern Ohio. I like to manage the memorials of my relatives but more than two thirds of my work is outside that group. Please let me know if you have an interest in managing any memorial I have posted. I would be glad to add information if you care to share.|
If you have taken a photo that is better than the one I have posted, feel free to post yours and drop me a message so I can remove mine.

I just discovered that you posted his marker photo. THANK you so much. It is so sad that a man who did the most beautiful carvings has such a plain stone. I have a virtual cemetery of his markers as I come across them. They make my day!
|E Campbell||RE: George Frederick Handel THOMSON|
I am related to George Thomson's mother and am keen to correspond with anyone in the family who may be interested in their roots back that far!
George's parents are both buried in California and I would love to know more of them and their lives. Also George's sister, Florence appears to have died in California also and I don't know what became of his older sister Elizabeth.
If anyone in your family knows more or is willing to share any photos, please pass on my details,

Yes, I will do that. And I will make sure all the other Smith pictures I took have memorials with pictures.

I saw your photos of gravestones for George and his family. Are you related as I am and would be good to exchange information.
|Paul Rolfe||RE: David Slaughter|
I went ahead and linked them on the memorial I manage so it appears while we are getting the duplicate issue resolved. Thanks again.
|Paul Rolfe||David Slaughter|
David Lee Slaughter died 28 January 1996; buried 31 January 1996 in Ridgewood Cemetery, Christus section, lot 004, grave 1
Ruth Slaughter died 8 August 1982; buried 11 August 1982 in Ridgewood Cemetery, Christus section, lot 004, grave 2
Records show both are marked grave(s.) Those are the only two Slaughter graves I found in the four Walnut Hill Cemeteries (up thru 2010).
I met David once during his marriage to my aunt but didn't really get to know him since I lived out of state at the time. I do know the Rolfe family members I talked to all really liked him and were happy the two of them met.

I contacted the person (who is right now not known to me) with the other memorial to see how we can best eliminate a duplicate. It is nice to have the photo they took from her memorial service as it is a good photo of her; however, I made the links after the other was transferred to me. She is my Aunt (Father's sister) and is buried beside my parents and another of her brothers. My folks and I have done quite a bit of genealogical research on the Rolfe family and it is ongoing.
Not a problem at all. Great shot and lighting! ;)

Thank you for the updates and corrections for Philena Emogene Robertson. I have the correct cemetery according to Barbara Nicholson who took the headstone photo. This has opened up a big problem as Barbara says that this IOOF Cemetery West Milford and the Rose Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum are apparently the same cemetery. But this other contributor has entered 800 memorials under the IOOF Cemetery name and many of them duplicates.
It was no problem at all to correct. :)
