Clark Family Cemetery
I added a second picture of Thomas Barr's gravestone, which might be a little easier to read?? Thank you for photographing this and other small cemeteries in that area..I was amazed when I saw they had been done. My brother lives near here and we walked to it on Easter Sunday and told the Clark Family they have not been forgotten.

Thank you for attaching Willie with his parents. Always nice to connect family members.
Still hoping to visit Old Hill Cemetery this fall and get as many photos as possible.

Benjamin and Susannah "Moonglow" Hamilton

My name is Cindy Hamilton. I am a direct descendent of Benjamin and Susannah "Moonglow" Hamilton. I see you added the pictures for their graves. I was wondering if you would be able to give me more information on the location of the graves other then it is located behind the old Moon, KY Post Office. Do you have a street address for it? I would like to go and pay my respects. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Old Hill Cemetery

I'm doing research on family members mostly in the Daviess County area. My parents both grew up in Jamesport, MO. My paternal side is Hampton/Endicott and maternal is Hayes,Hays/ McCoy

About half of Old Scotland Cemetery is related with McCoy, Scott, Hampton etc. but others scattered around. My great grandfather Samuel H Hayes has a sister, Cadora A. Hays buried in Old Hill and I visited the cemetery last summer to try and locate and photograph her tombstone, but it had grown up so much that it just wasn't possible.

I read an article in the Gallatin News where it had been cleared in 2012, but it sure had grown over quickly. I came home to Blue Springs, MO with more tics than photos.

I may try again to visit this fall, but was wondering if there are any plans to clear it again and offer my help if there is. It's a 200 mile round trip for me, but would be glad to make the trip and help. The article gave the name Lanita Smith to contact and I'm assuming that's a relation to you. If I need to contact her I'll do so.

Thanks for any information you can offer.

RE: Wheeler/Cazzell
hi Carolyn, thanks for your reply! I still think Marjorie Linnie Cazzell was his mom though. Margorie Linnie Cazzell Wheeler had a brother named Gabriel Harrison Cazzell, so he probly named after him.Another one of their brothers was Joseph M. Cazzell, he was my gr ge grandfather. I can send you more why I thin Marjey Cazzell Wheeler his mom. Yes Henry had a first wife, then next Margery Cazzell, and third he married a Deal.

hi Carolyn, are you sure about Gabriel Harrison Wheelers mother? I have that his mother was Marjorie Cazzell. I'm descended from the Cazzells and am researching the ancestors and descendants. Thank you
