I have been researching our roots for many years. There is something very satisfying in discovering all about my family history; and there is always more to learn! |
As well as its primary purpose being a grave registration site, FindAGrave is a wonderful way to memorialize our ancestors, and a great genealogical resource. My husband and I enjoy contributing to this website, honoring those who have gone before us, and helping others to find their long lost family.
We respect the guidelines set forth for this website.
We will be happy to add proper info and links to memorials that are sent via the EDIT tab on the memorial. We do not link to burial unknowns. We do not add (copy & paste) obituaries that are less than 70 years in the past. We will glean information from them to add to the bio section of the memorial. Please cite the source of the obituary information being sent to us. Please DO NOT ADD SCANNED OBITUARIES/NEWSPAPER ARTICLES to the photo slots on any memorials that we maintain, PER FindAGrave POLICIES.
Transfer requests will be made for direct family members, within 4 generations, as set by the guidelines.
Please make all SACs and transfer requests through the edit tab on the memorial itself.
All photos that we post are bound by copyright rules. Do not take any of them for your own use, neither on this website, nor anywhere else. Do not alter them for re-posting here, nor anywhere else. Thank you :)

My name is Sally, I am the great granddaughter of Emma Jane Weiss Kolk. I too am searching my family tree. I have a lot of facts on the Weiss family and could share with you.
|Billy Walker||Pvt Joseph Johnston Memorial# 96022323|
Thank you for finding and posting the picture of Pvt. Johnston's tombstone. It makes his memorial more complete, and helps honor the men of the 97th Pa Infantry.
Thank you again for being a Findagrave Volunteer! -- Billy
So cremated parents cannot be linked to their children ? That seems sad to me. 😢

Thank you so much for fulfilling my request. I appreciate it so much and I appreciate all the work you do for Find A Grave. Your fellow contributor, Roxanne
Wondering why you have declined and edit to link Sergei to his father George?

Glad I was able to help.
|Bruce Speck||George Yeagley Photo|
Thanks for taking a photograph of the tombstone of George Yeagley. It was greatly appreciated.
|Jim Hoffman||RE: Lowell Hoffman|
Yes, I am Lowell's brother. I know where all my siblings are buried. Only Joe and I are left.
Loretta, Celesta and Lowell are interred at Riverside. Frances Barrickman is at Calvery Catholic in Eau Claire, Loyas is at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Anoka, MN, Elmer is at St. Johns in Little Chute, WI. Of course my parents August (Gus) and Emma are at Riverside.
I've done a lot of work on genealogy and have a Hoffman Family web-site you might find interesting. Contact me for the link.

It was my pleasure to get you your great Aunts grave photo for you. I would have cleaned Clarence's grave, but, it was super cold outside and I had no jacket. At least I captured the headstone.
