I am researching my family tree. The names I am really into are, Tauscher (Morgan/Roane County, TN and Saxony, Germany), Harrell (Sweetwater), Reynolds, Delapp, McNabb, Nelson, and Easter.|
GENEALOGY - Where you confuse the dead and irritate the living.
Now, some food for thought...
Next time you're feeling rather unimportant, try a little arithmetic trick based on the undebatable fact that it took two people, your parents, to get you here. Each of your parents has two parents, so in the generation just prior to that of your mother and father, there were four people whose pairing off and sharing love contributed to your existence.
You are the product of eight great-grandparents, 16 great-great-grandparents, 32 great-great-great-grandparents, etc. Keep on multiplying the number by two. If you figure an average of about 25 years between each generation, you'll discover in a scant 500 years ago, there were 1,048,576 people on this planet beginning the production of you.

Diana, thank you so much for the photo of Nancy's headstone. Is it OK for me to use it in my genealogy files?

|Mary Bell Kus||Memorial # 33300770|
Recently I received an email pointing out that there are duplicate Find A Grave listings for Nancy R. Hill, #33300770 and #47032475. Nancy is my great grandmother which explains why there is more information on the second site.
Normally I believe that the site with the earliest # should remain and the other be deleted. But I would like to see the extra data on the second site not be lost. Also, the person who emailed me said that other members of Nancy's family have Find A Grave #'s close to her #47032475. I never thought that mattered, but it appears to matter to some people.
Would you be willing to either add the data to #33300770 (middle name, maiden name and picture) or delete that site so there is only one site? I created #47032475, but it really does not matter to me which way we go with this.
The person who added the picture is a relative of mine, so if you want to keep your site, I think he could add that picture to your site. Anyway, I wish to leave it to you to decide what you would prefer.
